The local sergeant said she had a plan to effect a safe arrest of Mr Walker — who was wanted for allegedly
breaching a court order and threatening police with an axe — on Saturday, November 10 at 5am.
As the sun set, Mr Walker was suddenly face-to-face with two police officers in his mother's living room. He
stabbed Constable Rolfe in the shoulder with a pair of scissors. The officer responded by firing his Glock three times.Yuendumu's nurses had evacuated for the weekend hours earlier, after a string of break-ins at their homes.
So Kumanjayi was taken to the police station, where officers did what they could to treat three close-range gunshot wounds.
As the 19-year-old lay dying on the floor of a police cell, his family sat outside in the dark — literally and figuratively.

Not a single word about Aboriginal responsibility for their own behaving like feral savages.
Not a word.
No wonder there is black fatigue.
"We were all terrified, we were scared, we didn't know what to do," says senior Warlpiri elder, Ned Jampijinpa Hargraves.
Reign in your people.
What else is the point of your being a 'senior elder'?
Not all, but many indigenous people,
seem to want to live by 'the law of the jungle'.
[WOKE 'entitled', COVETOUSNESS.]covet = = yearn to possess (something belonging to someone else).i.e.
"You have something......and i want it."
AND THEN......But whenever a 'situation' goes badly wrong.......
THE EXCUSE IS.....IT IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT.
'situation' i.e. 'pilfering', 'theft', and associated 'violence'
The horrendous >> consequences << which indigenous people often seems to suffer from,
to my eyes, all seem to flow, from the [bad] influences of.....their own 'bandit' culture.
Am i mistaken ?
.
A better way ?

Exodus 20:15
Thou shalt not steal.
#10
Exodus 20:17
Thou shalt not covet......any thing that is thy neighbour's.If >> i << do not covet,
if >> i << do not try to steal the property of another......
then i can't get into a circumstance......which leads to confrontation and violence,
regarding those causative actions.
