It is an absolute scandal and someone should be held responsible!

What the hell is happening in childcare in Australia? Why are these paedophiles allowed to work with children? Personally I would be banning all males from working with vulnerable babies and toddlers who cannot express what is happening to them. What are the childcare centres doing to safeguard the children supposedly in their "care"? Why isn't there CCTV everywhere? Why are these males left alone with babies for hours each day?

This is not the first case and certainly won't be the last. Remember Ashley Paul Griffith, the paedo who was charged with 307 offences against 69 children over 2 decades in Brisbane and even Italy? And yet the govt and childcare centre tried to persecute the brave grandmother and childcare worker who attempted to bring this creep to justice. She was prosecuted and charged with allegedly accessing confidential records on children at a care centre from her home in Brisbane and sending them to a reporter at A Current Affair.

She had previously appeared on the program and said she had notified authorities almost two years previously in relation to Griffith's inappropriate behaviour towards young children. But of course they ignored her hence having to take these steps to expose his offending.

Because of the outcry over her treatment by the authorities, she was eventually found not guilty in court.

There needs to be more safeguards for vulnerable children and less protections for scumbag males who work in these childcare centres! Angry

I remember that case! OMG it was so frustrating… that poor woman felt she had to do something ….
And I asked as I saw the news about this latest case… weren’t there cctv cams anywhere?
Now I think there is a need for it!

Something is off… how he shifted around to so many different day cares and areas.
Police now find a lot of disturbing content on his computer.
These cams don’t cost a fortune and should be installed as mandatory in child care centres.

Strange as it may seem… in jail…. for whatever time they do for their crime, there’s this silent code of understanding between them all, that any crime against children is a huge no no and I bet these child perpetrators get put in a more isolated area of jail for want of inmates getting their justice their way with that.
