Continuing on the path to the hard right path will only see the libs go the way of the democrats. Replaced by the teals as the democrats were replaced by the greens.
Now personally, I don't care which option they take. Both outcomes will see an end to the push to the right and bring you tears. Both results bring me joy.

It seems obvious that Sussan got the job as leader because she is a woman and there hasn't been a female leader of the Libs before. 

But should diversity be the defining issue in getting a job?

I've always thought the best candidate should be chosen regardless of gender. 

And remember that Sussan had to resign in 2017 because of rorting travel expenses.  Then there was the time she bought an apartment on the Gold Coast whilst on another taxpayer funded trip to Brisbane. 

Whether she is the best person for the job is yet to be revealed ....

I might be a conservative but I don't always vote Liberal.  Athough I did vote Liberal at the last election because I am not a fan of the Teals and Zali Steggall in Warringah.

However I like Andrew Hastie.  He would be my pick for leader - might need a bit more experience though.

But we will have to see how Sussan Ley goes. 

Ridiculous competing in a femme race with Labor - the online comments are positively against Labor.

Parties these days near totally lack any real 'talent' - and adding more sheilas to the mix won't change that - only make it worse, since they are proven to be self-serving ideologues dedicated to their own limited worldview.

Ramping up the war against men, for example, isn't gong to cause a downturn in the retaliatory war against women .. the entire edifice was based on a false paradigm and has been built up on a series of false paradigms, all causing direct harm to replace the POSSIBILITY of harm as expressed by some odd feeling floating around...

The West has near killed itself pursuing this mindless jihad against men, promoted not in the interests of 'protecting women' since the vast majority of situations involve NO violence other than some fantasy, but by Beta men seeking to gain avenues of control over real men, and thus to secure for themselves incomes for life out of a suffering country...

If you doubt me - look at the harm done to families, children, rising youth crime, rising women crime, the economy, overall general parity in prosperity (don't get me started there), power of the electorate (tenuous at best already), legal rights, civil rights and equalities, and to men direct.  All this madness has done is open the way to the rule of the lesser men - if you doubt me - look at Labor with all its sheilas - all the honchos are men you wouldn't follow into battle.

The LNP needs to STAND for things - and one of those needs to be that the best candidate should be put forward for election - not some Communist quota.
