Can see Greg and Proudroo defending this.
Quote:A shocking message about the immigration raids was posted on Instagram by the elected official Cynthia Gonzalez, who serves as the vice mayor of the city of Cudahy, located in southeast Los Angeles County. The message isn't for the federal government. It's allegedly for the "cholos," a slang term in the U.S. meaning gang members, in Southern California.
"I wanna know where all the cholos are at in Los Angeles. 18th Street, Florencia. Where's the leadership at?... Now that your hood is being invaded by the biggest gang there is, there ain't a peep out of you... Don't be trying to claim no block, no nothing if you're not showing up right now trying to help out and organize," Gonzalez said, according to the video.

ICE goes after them because they're easy targets. It reveals a cowardice baked into the entire operation.
Strip away the PR gloss and it's obvious, they want fewer brown people in the country. That's the whole project.
bullshit in a steaming little teapot.
Sooooo wacisms!!!!
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking custody of an illegal alien from Finland who is accused of throwing coffee on a mother and her baby. Jaaskelainen is an illegal alien who overstayed her B-2 tourist visa that was issued to her in April 1999. Jaaskelainen was required to depart the U.S. in July 1999 but failed to do so and has lived in the U.S. illegally for 26 years.

He even stated just this month that most of those apprehended are “murderers,” or people the US accepted after being “thrown outta their countries because they were … criminals.”
And it's simply not ture.
If you look at the stats:
From 1 October 2024 (start of FY2025) through 14 June 2025, ICE reportedly processed 204,297 people (“book-ins”).
Of those book-ins:
65% (≈ 133,687 people) had no criminal convictions of any kind.
93% had no violent-crime convictions.
93%...
I'll say it again, ICE goes after them because they're easy targets. They're just trying to fill quotas.
For all you bitching and moaning about DEI quotas (not a thing, but that didn't stop you), we finally found a quota you like, the fact that ICE have deportations quotas and are following those, ignoring the justification given for their lawlessness by the President.
And you just keep happyily clapping along.
None of which supports your deranged idiocy that it's ALL about brown people, little deranged

ICE’s authority to remove aliens exists under the Immigration and Nationality Act pursuant to Title 8 of the U.S. Code, sometimes called “Title 8 authority.”
Between March 2020 and May 2023, the Department of Homeland Security quickly expelled irregular border crossers from the United States under a public health order the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued March 21, 2020, sometimes called “Title 42 authority.”
Title 8: ICE principally removes aliens from the United States after they have received a final order of removal. These removal operations require complex coordination, management and facilitation efforts to successfully remove and return aliens from the United States. ERO accomplishes this mission through charter flights and on commercial airlines for escorted and unescorted removals, in addition to ground transportation missions on the northern and southern borders and at ports of entry.
ERO’s highest-profile removals generally comprise fugitives wanted for serious crimes in other countries, such as homicide, gang-related offenses, corruption and fraud. Often, these individuals come to ERO’s attention because of Interpol notices. Other high-profile removals include known or suspected terrorists, those involved in counterproliferation crimes, and those on the terrorist watch list and no-fly list. War criminals and others convicted or suspected of committing human rights abuses — including torture, ethnic cleansing and genocide — are also in this category. Authorities escort high-profile removals out of the country via commercial flights, regularly scheduled ICE charter flights and special high-risk charters. In many cases, the individuals are turned over to law enforcement authorities in their home country to face charges or sentencing.
