From the report -

"I think probably people are more likely to report those experiences, and people have a greater understanding of what it is," she said."

More reporting does not necessarily translate to a rise in racism.  Roll Eyes

John do you think that wanting to keep Mt Warning open to all citizens, regardless of race, is an "insecurity"?

Only an insecure twat would cry for years now about not being able to climb a mountain he has no intention of climbing

I have climbed it before.

You do not understand freedom if you think it is silly to defend it when it doesn't directly affect you.

don't take out your insecurities on me Cheesy

I think it is you who is insecure about this John. It challenges some belief you hold, that you are afraid to address directly.

I'm the least insecure guy you'll meet. That's why I don't spend my days finding fault with and belittling people because they are black, Green, Chinese, Martian, hindu, Jewish, Muslim or whatever other differences they might have.

You are almost up there with Brian Ross in your compulsion to respond and your fear of saying something relevant. The only thing you add that he doesn't is the need to belittle people.

Compulsion to respond? Isn't that why we're here?

Perhaps I should do what you do and pretend everyone says something else just so that I can start another thread complaining that they said what they didn't say? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm tempted to post a picture of my grandkids but a few too many deviates on here.

But if someone can explain to me why the black grandkids and white grandkids can't enjoy a bushwalk up my warning together and how the current policy isn't segregation on the basis of skin colour ( apartheid) I would be grateful

In fact from spending time with them they are funnier, more resilient. More sharing and more dialed in to the present moment then whites.

BUT

they have been sucked into a very evil narrative by people like whitlam Rudd Keating Gillard and albo.

They have been told repeatedly that they are a victim of their circumstances. And we are sorry which implies they have to focus on the suffering and the pain and live in THAT reality

Absolutely appalling.

We need to repeatedly tell and DEMAND that they see themselves as
MASTERS OF THIER DESTINY.  Not VICTIMS OF THIER CIRCYMSTANCES.
to not do so is a form of racism far more destructive then Boris anecdotes.

I believe Boris to be honest but we need to focus only on the positive.

Condemning or saying sorry are equally appalling

Well - racism's been on the rise since the mass import of people who regard the West with suspicion if not open hostility, and has been made worse locally (I view immigrants as being a separate group - not quite Australians, you understand - sort of partials) by Albanese's fantasy of dividing the country up along Aborigines and Others - a new form of Apartheid.

Only a total idiot - and there are plenty of those around at the moment - could not see that such an Apartheidist policy is a disaster from the outset...

Most NORMAL people - from which group you can exclude the vast majority of 'students' and other befuddled indoctrinated thinkers these days - scarcely consider Aborigines etc ... though some extremely good-hearted people - some here - who take up the cause of solving the very real and clear Aboriginal problems and speaking out without fear or favour - are constantly attacked for wanting to help improve things for the Abos.

It's 2025 - they can't just say they own everything - that all the land is theirs by some right of past conquest -those days are gone or by some Divine Right  .. you can't just raise an Aboriginal flag and say you now claim this country etc...as some farcical group based in Brisbane are currently trying to do with a stretch of land around Goondiwindi .. this Aboriginal Imperialism has had its day - it ended in 1788, so best get used to it and make your way honestly in the modern age.

The people of Australia are sick of supporting your fantasies of some past empire... get over it ... maybe you could try an Aboriginal Commonwealth and try to work together instead of playing Empire all the time with your farcical group ... as farcical as Khomeini declaring victory over Israel... nearly blew the froth off me Guinness at that one!!

Bravo!  Someone else has seen through the bullshit Racist condemnation that, "Boris" posts all the time.  Well done, Aqua.  What a pity though you had to ruin it with your usual condemnation of anybody who feels for the Indigenous Australians' plight and blame their situation on those who have endeavoured to do something about it.  Tsk, tsk, tsk... The are, by fact primitive and cannibal and it has shown that discipline, like that which disciplines all people, saves them from the Left's victimhood trap.

Feeling for them, and prolonging the culture of learned helplessness, do not have to be the same thing Brian. It's like picking up a flailing fish and commiserating with it that it cannot breath, then lovingly getting a towel to dry its tears. Your emotions do not make up for your stupidity.
