Historically and geographically, Iran is another Afghanistan.
There will be no ground invasion of Iran by Israel, the US or any state.
Currently, Israel and the US are encouraging regime collapse and revolution by internal forces led by Prince Reza... aided by the complete annihilation of Iran's defensive and offensive military capacity, and the decapitation of Iran's military high command.
The collapse of the political structure, while appearing straightforward following the exile or assassination of Khamenei, will require the neutralising of hundreds, maybe thousands, of clerics who have regional power and are loyal to the regime... all the more reason that a mass popular uprising of the Iranian people is required to end the regime.
Good to know, Meister, good to know.
So once Hezbollah and other insurgent groups get rid of the infidel Shah and stage a counter-revolution, what will you say then?
We note the absence of your commentary on the Assad regime, dear. That's one down, two to go.
Yes, two more of Vlad's foreign allies are left standing: Kim Jong Un and the Mullahs. I think he'll have something to say about installing Western dictators in his much-loved Iran, don't you?
Vlad is reported to have watched that video of Gaddafi's assassination over and over again, fretting, playing on his mind. After the fall of Assad, the Arab Spring's inching closer to Russia. How do you think he'll react to the fall of the Ayatollah?
Look, Donnie doesn't give a hoot about Iran, we all know that. He's just happy to be out of jail. But two people have his ear: the Israeli mega-donor donor Miriam Adelson, and Vladimir Putin. Sure, Don would be as happy to shaft Miriam just as he did Elon, but the big fella won't get one over Vlad. He won't even try.
Remember Hillary's emails and that Crowdstrike thing? The only thing DL wants from foreign IP servers is that video the Russians have, and he knows Vlad's got it tucked away safe and sound. Whatever Vlad's got must be good. The KGB don't tend to mess around.
So no. As soon as Israel and the US go into Iran, whoever's put in will be chosen by Vlad.
How times have changed, eh? We all remember the handwringing over Iraq. The talking heads on Fox all had their man, do you recall? Like you, they all proposed some exiled Western puppet.
Now that the US is run by a clown show, there's not even a thought given to who will replace the theocracy that's governed Iran for the past 46 years. MAGA pundits have spent the past ten years banging on about staying out of endless wars and learning from their own botched history. Now, without a pause, they're rushing back in.
The invasion of Iran's solely about ratings. Apart from his obedience to Vlad, Trump only plays to a domestic audience. He reads his unpopularity polls like he used to read the Neilson ratings on Celebrity Apprentice. Much of this is about timing. As soon as the mid-terms start to look menacing, the big fella will put boots on the ground for certain.
When that happens, the real drama begins. We're talking mass arrests, threats of coups and martial law, total constitutional chaos - just the sort of drama that rates. Knowing how inept they are, it'll be overhyped and quickly fizzle out. The Trump administration will be as effective at running a dictatorship as they have been running everything else.
That leaves them stuck in their new endless war, Iran. Pete Hegseth is no Donald Rumsfeld. He's hardly going to give a hermeneutic lecture on what we know or don't. There is no way Pete can run a war - nobody would even question that. Any general appointed by Trump is bound to be a suckhole failure, so that leaves a succession of acting commanders, all fired in quick succession, all leaking to the fake news, all disgruntled ex-employees like the rest.
You might be all hot to get the Mullahs, Meister, but it's not going to happen. If US-armed Israel can't even get rid of Hamas in a small encircled city, how could you possibly expect a bunch of clowns to defeat Iran?
Remember, contrary to the MAGA narrative, the lesson from Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq isn't merely fiscal. It's that the US, the strongest military power in history,
lost. The US doesn't need to go into Iran to prove this point again, but you know as well as I, dear. With Trump in office, America's already lost.
Are you?
