The Iranian Islamic Republic Close to Collapse
Jun 16th, 2025 at 2:10pm

Hundreds of thousands of Iranians flee Tehran, heeding IDF advice to do so before further Israeli attacks, while Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, and his family go into hiding.

The IRGC is close to collapse, while Israel has spared the regular military command, no doubt to be available to support a new Iranian regime.

Iran's Crown Prince, Reza Pahlavi, may be preparing to return to Iran in the wake of the collapse of the Islamic Republic.

If only Iran could return to the days prior to their wretched revolution.

When women had rights and an education!

Although given this whole Islamic Republic nutjobbery began with the popular overthrow of his father, I doubt Iranians will be warm to the idea of reinstalling a Shah.

The leftists communists and Islamists were behind the overthrow of the Shah.

Today the leftists are aligned with Islamists they never learn from mistakes.

Quote:
The Black and the Red

In the decades prior to 1979, Iran enjoyed significant progress in economic development, women’s rights, education, health, and other areas. Many of these positive developments, which occurred under the rulership of Reza Shah and his son Mohammad Reza Shah, provoked the fury of the Islamic clerical establishment. In tandem with this, the Shah’s repression of dissent and restriction of political freedoms galvanised restless Iranian leftists. In 1979, these two camps would combine to overthrow the Shah in an Islamic Revolution, with deadly consequences for those same leftists and the Iranian people as a whole.

Iranians today realise the Shah was right in cracking down on fundaMental muslims in Iran.

They have had 46 years of Islamic oppression they know it was better under the Shah they have pictures and mothers fathers and Grandparents telling them he was far better than the Mad Mullahs.

I have unconfirmed report Putin has warned Khamenei his regime is in danger of collapsing.
We saw how fast Assads rule fell before he fled to Russia.

A friend of my wifes was born in Iran and came to Australia as child after the fall of the shah. Over a few glasses of wine one evening (she is a Muslim, but not fanatical about it) she told us that initially her parents welcomed the removal of the shah due to the corruption in his government, however they soon realised exactly what the agenda of the new republican government was. As her parents were teachers they were among the first to feel the wrath of the fundamental Islamists that now ran the show and decided that a move overseas was a better option.

Yes I saw some Iranians (who fled after the revolution) longing for the days of the Shah.

Hopefully they'll get their wish.

...

Some were even waving Israeli flags (not in the photo I took though).

It's looking like Israel is preparing for a massive wave of strikes with the intended outcome to be regime change, which means an interim governing regime has been chosen.

The pause now is likely to give civilians time to shelter or evacuate Tehran and other high-density regions in Iran, particularly close to nuclear sites.

Will the leadership be allowed to flee into exile? Who would take them? Maybe Russia...

Probably only Russia but it's a strange thing that even Russia has had to deal with Islamic terrorism yet takes in the likes of Assad and probably Tehran's tyrants..

Vladimir Putin doesn't really care too much for Iran. They supply him with some of what he wants (drones), but doesn't care much for them.

There is no pause Israel has been smashing Iran around the clock.

The Iranians i know say any regime change has to come from within it can't be imposed on them.
That said they have a desire to return to Monarchy which will more likely be a figurehead instead of a dictator they would like to elect and throw out politicians who don't perform.
They want a secular democracy.

As we type Iranians are giving advice to Israel on where Basij and other government agencies who cracked down and executed them are the IDF is bombing them.
The IDF have helped Iranians break out with prisons holding political prisoners videos on X with them escaping a few were shot dead by guards.

Some of the regime have already fled to Russia just like Assad did.

About 16 years ago they tried to remove Islamic regime with Green Movement the regime crushed them and executed thousands.

Youtube are removing videos showing brutal barbaric Islamic regime i guess leftists don't like the truth how  men women children are tortured then hanged. Youtube don't like how Iranians compared Supreme Leader and Ahmadinjad to Hitler.

Bibi did mention the Persian Cyrus the Great freed Jewish slaves he would like them to be free from brutal barbaric Islamic regime.

This video is 16 years old showing hair from under hijab shows they object to hijab and don't support regime.
