It's all well and good for these exempt politicians to rant that 'under the LNP it became a money hoarding scheme' - it was set up that way by Keating - they HAD to know full well at the time that the well-off would take advantage of it.  Nothing happens by accident and every move was planned out in advance to ensure that those with mega-profits not only avoided tax but also hoarded money in a tax-free haven one way or another.

Keating set it up that way to suit his mates!!  And now Albo is making it worse by separating politicians and such from the same boat...  as someone said - Animal Farm .... 1984 ... multi-tier in everything.

Talk about desperately in need of a stranger's hand in a desperate land...

Exactly - phukkin Labor hypocrites.

They made it super compulsory for all ... now want to not only get their hands on super pool .....

they want to implement a tax on non existent unrealised profit.

A slimier, lower political act I've yet to see.

Anyone that's got three million is super, can afford to pay a bit more tax.   Sad

100% correct.

I'll end up paying it fairly soon as I have no intentions of retiring and it keeps accumulating.

Even at 30 % it's not a bad investment.

What poor people don't get is that  money is not a zero sum gain.

They seem to think there is a limited pie of money and if someone is doing well, they must be taking it from someone who isn't.

In a collaborative frame, people work together and all get rich

And rich people are always wanting to collaborate.

But they won't collaborate with someone who gives off the odour of a taker.

You have to give first before you receive.

It's in the bible lol.

If people like white knight could just learn to give, their cup would runneth over

It's why I will not retire until forced to.

Giving and serving and contributing are the only things that give people joy.

It's why you have to be grateful

Broke people are not grateful

They would say " why should I be grateful when I'm broke"

They have the equation the wrong way around.

They are broke BECAUSE they are ungrateful

If it is so great maybe you can explain it. Like an economist. Wink

you know about hoe farmers are locking up the land in there super funds, to the detriment of Aussies everywhere. Do you think extra tax would have them increase prices? Roll Eyes
