So a bunch of anarchists gathered at the Victorian State Library, with a plan to terrorise the city.

They marched around, yelling things such as "DEATH TO THE IDF" and "DEFUND THE POLICE" lighting fires in bins and then running riot in a laneway of restaurants, up turning tables, throwing chairs around.

The police arrived and "spoke to those involved".

Then there was th lighting on fire of the front door of the synagogue full of people having dinner.

That should be an attempted murder charge in my opinion.

The police cannot say if it is "terrorism".

So it wasn't ideological? I very much doubt that. I reckon all the incidents are related. They should all be charged.

It is not just shameful, it is embarrassing.

Premier Jacinta Allan, focusing on pushing through the Victorian VOICE, while the state burns with anarchy, machete attacks and violent crimes.

Everyone has the right to practice the religion of their choice in Australia.

Terror attacks such as this need to have the full resources of all law agencies thrown at catching the person ( s) involved.

The same should occur for any terror attacks on Muslim communities.

The failure of government to bring people involved in these terror attacks to court just shows how weak our country is too defend itself against these ongoing terror attacks.

The man charged with Friday night’s terrifying attempt to firebomb an East Melbourne synagogue full of worshippers can be revealed as 34-year-old NSW man Angelo Loras.

The Toongabbie man was arrested on Saturday night, with detectives from the Counter Terrorism Security Investigation unit laying charges early Sunday morning.

Mr Loras faced court on Sunday but did not apply for bail and will next appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 22.

Mr Loras describes himself on social media platform X as “Single, Iranian, forklift driver, music lover”, but made no reference to either the war in Gaza or the Iranian government on his social media accounts.
