To me, the 70s was the decade that didn't take anything too seriously. Where the world relaxed, just went out and worked happily, had fun, socialised without class distinctions, no more political angers.
It was like the world was content and happy.

...until the greedy lust for money and glam came with the 80s and things just got worse again.

The 70s was like that calm in the eye of the storm.

I was all about to get the ingredients yesterday at Coles but
there were no fresh yellow beans.
I didn't want canned ones.
Oh well - another day.

In Melbourne, yellow wax beans are best planted in late spring or early summer
after the soil has warmed up and the risk of frost has passed.
This typically translates to September to November.

Foxtel also has The Penguin, which is an excellent series. 9/10

At the moment, I'm watching Band of Brothers which is also excellent. 9/10

But yeah, The Brady Bunch is on every day on one of the channels, usually followed by old episodes on The Twilight Zone.

Not a car racing fan. I'm Rugby League - some boxing & MMA.

You reckon paying for that is bad… I’m only with Prime, and until recently it’s started playing adverts!
Now that is a pain because…. reason we liked watching movies was no ads to break up concentration/relaxation… the very reason we paid is to avoid watching movies on commercial tv!
Now I wondering what the next step is and how much I have to pay extra to avoid advertisements!
But having said that…. With prime subscription being with Amazon… I get free delivery on stuff I buy through Amazon online… and yes it’s been cheaper buying stuff I want when comparing to other online places.
