One election away from annihilation
May 24th, 2025 at 10:25pm

It will take a decade and sweeping reform before the Liberals have any serious path back to power. Here is why.

To win in 2028, the Liberals and Nationals need to pick up 33 seats. Only 16 of those seats are held by Labor with margins under 6%.

By 2028, another 700,000 Gen Z voters will have joined the electoral roll and the Coalition currently wins just 1 in 5 of them - on a very sunny day.

By 2028, only 25% of all enrolled Australians will be Baby Boomers or older.

On May 3rd, the Coalition lost at least 12 seats they didn’t even have on their danger list. Instead, they burned millions chasing seats that are now safely Labor with double-digit margins.

This is what happens when your data is catastrophically wrong, you end up exposed, and facing an existential crisis. The difference between good and bad intel can now be measured in how many electoral cycles the Coalition has to wait before they even get close to winning. Very costly.

It will only take 3-4 years for the ALP Left to fail to deliver, just like the Biden Democrats. This is what happens when you run a campaign of Media promoted lies. We've seen it before.
Who knows, maybe Scomo will make a comeback? Wink

I feel that Australia will have to get a lot worse for the Govt to change hands -
people will have to be starving and living on the streets - that will do it -
and it's already happening owing to mass immigration and the cost of living -
people spending 90% of their money on rent etc because of housing pressure.

Yes - Die Untergang has begun:-

The Civil War 1.0 - The Eternal Civil War Between Government And People Over Who Has The Right Of Control .... and at this point the Bad Guys are winning.

The Civil War 2.0 - Intifada

The Civil War 3.0 - when the sleeping giant of the people awakens in its need to cast out a Neo-Stalino-Fascist government of a self-anointed elitist minority.

It is bizarre that the very same people who long held that the evils of society came from those with the money and thus power - now fail utterly to see that the same problem comes from those with the political leaning via indoctrination from a young age, and who are steadily gaining power..... themselves.  SS - DD, the same old story with a different cast of characters...

Gives full merit to the sociological conclusion that with each successful 'revolution' - those who 'win' - revert to the very thing they fought to overthrow.

We, the People - when WE take back the asylum from these zombies indoctrinated from a tiny age under the feminist regime ....... must be wary that WE do not, in turn, become what we seek to overthrow - yet another branch of Despotism International.

Let us so hold ourselves that we refrain from de-humanising those who choose to be our enemies, who choose to treat us as enemies of our own state for holding out against being totally controlled ... they who seek to make us their serfs  and bring us all under a new reign of darkness ...... when We, The People... take back the farm .... we must do it PROPERLY, for the love of all things humanitarian - and not fall into the trap of becoming just another despotic government.

Remember 'Che' Guevara's justification for executions?  He said that executing a certain number and type meant they would not have to execute them all... but where does it stop?  History shows us that it does not stop - EVER... until We, The People behaving honourably and humanely - put a stop to it....

I charge you all now - put us down in Hell - but put us all down together as one in our humanity!

The irresponsible mass immigration will create only desperation in the cities. Crime will explode. There will be riots. There will be exploitation. There will be gangsters.

the libs built their party around the boomers, whilst ignoring the needs of modern society. As the boomers die off, the libs find themselves with no real direction, and no path for Australia's future ... they can't let go of the past because for fear of losing the few votes they have, and the donations behind them, as opposed to change and winning a new voter base

if you've ever watched Gordon Ramseys 'Kichen Nightmare', the libs are like the restauranteur who has poo food and is going broke but doesn't want to change the menu for fear of losing the 4 or 5 regulars he has.

We're not far away now.

https://wentworthreport.com/2025/05/24/australian-golden-age-is-ending-with-a-th...

Australian golden age ending with a thud. By Greg Sheridan in The Australian.

Australia is a nation in decline. Across every indicator you can imagine — economy, living standards, social cohesion, crime, health, military capability, the creativity and virtuosity of the arts — we’re in serious decline.

This is not an anti-Australian statement. Australia is a first-rate nation whose leaders just now are determining we’ll be second-rate. Australia is a nation with a blemished but magnificent history, a nation once of ambition, achievement, accommodation, heroism, turning itself instead into a nation of mendicant mediocrity.

Grerg Sheriden is preaching to the terminally stupid ... thats why he appeals to you goober. This is a response to Greg Sheridans article from a facebook post by a political commentator named Carrick Ryan. I think he nails it perfectly

Quote:
Actually...
In the last quarter, Australia's per capita GDP (which had been declining since the pandemic) actually increased.
Inflation, which first begun to spike under Morrison and was caused by global supply chain issues as well as Russia's invasion of Ukraine, has been brought back within the RBA's target range and most economists are predicting multiple interest rate cuts.
Australia has the fourth highest life expectancy among OECD countries.
The Labor Government have actually increased our defence budget by an additional $55.7 billion.
...and if you want to talk about "social cohesion", let's talk about how the country just united to unequivocally reject Dutton's divisive Trump style politics in one of the most one sided elections in our nation's history.
Australia has a lot of challenges, I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But it's worth remembering that the only ideas this mob came up with at the last election was to spend about half a trillion dollars on nuclear reactors, forcing everyone to return to the office, and firing 41,000 public servants.
The purpose of opinion pieces like this is to propagate the idea that we are facing an emergency, and that the urgency of the situation necessitates a remedy that might otherwise make us feel uncomfortable.
News Corp is trying to build a narrative for a right wing political revolution... we know how this ends
