Raquel Welch was one of those rare 'respectable' women who got through her career and life with dignity and no scandals, etc. I think 10 years ago she gave Hollywood a real blast against all the dirty men in that Industry. Her daughter Tahnee (Cocoon) was a hot sort too.

Bobby, I developed early in life, (grade 6) way too young to cope with the attention!
The wolf whistles, the sexual innuendo etc that I simply shunned anything obviously sleezy or sexy.
Such as the singers you highlighted could get any girl or all chicks went for them… too obviously sleezy/sexy for my liking. I preferred more conservative types, that kept their shirts on or didn’t wear pants  for outlining the bulge of their private parts.
Maybe I was just different to the rest?
Most girls I knew as mid teens had lots of sex whereas I didn’t, and I didn’t even lose my virginity until 19 n half almost 20!
Anyway, that was loooong ago now.

Re: buying music sheets from music store, I finally saved up to buy one.
I still have it.

Dear Sophia,
you're not telling fibs are you?

Every chick I knew in the 70s was hot for Arnie:

Well Bobby, I’m not “every chick” you knew in the 70s
Anyway, I’d never heard of Arny in the 70s … I was too busy that era… getting married, buying first home, working 6 days a week.
I will let you in on a secret tv celeb crush I have at present.
The compare host of tipping point Tod Woodbridge.
There’s just something appealing about him.  Kiss

Dear Bobbie…. What have you got against sportsmen if that’s what some like?
My family here are very sporty….
Now I’ve mentioned musicians I liked when younger. Normie Rowe, Johnny Farnham, Peter Tolk of The Monkees etc.
Are you saying they not good enough to be the league you mentioned above?
Tsk tsk tsk

Here’s a u tube clip of the fantastic musicianship of the Monkees members… great guitar playing!

In Melbourne, in an elevator. Tall fake blonde said I look like Jim Morrison. Great I thought. She reckons I'll drown in my own vomit like a loser. Roll Eyes

See Bobby. Chicks prefer scars on men more than tattoos.
Go see some Sudanese for some ritual scaring.

Damn. Nearly 5am. I think I sh#t the bed.

Well Marla,
Would any of that trio have been good enough for you in their primes?

Re: timeline of when I was a teeny bopper, during the 60s … those leather clad singers didn’t exist.
We had Bill Haley and the comets. The Beatles. Elvis Presley. Sonny and Cher. The Monkees. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. All respectably dressed in suits. Even The Doors. (See pic below) The only raunchy one was Elvis and his pelvis.
By the time the musical leather clad shirtless fashion came in, I was grown up and married and interested in  paying off our loan on our first house/starting a family.

See… different decades…and yes I’m older than thou.
I hope that calms any concerns.

Dear Sophia,
you are forgiven for having your eyes closed in the 70s.    Smiley
