The Nationals will not re-enter a coalition agreement with the Liberal Party
after the election saw them retain most of their seats while their partner went backwards.

Nationals Leader David Littleproud and newly elected Liberal Leader Sussan Ley have been locked in negotiations for days, with nuclear power, divesture powers for supermarkets and the Regional Australia Future Fund emerging as the key sticking points.

What's next?
Mr Littleproud said he was hopeful the two parties would be able to come to a new agreement before the next federal election in three years.

My Prediction:

Sussan Ley will try to steer the party to a more moderate position so that it can become relevant again in Urban and more affluent areas. And this mean, she had to cut off the Nationals, who are still going on and about Nuclear.

Her task will be infinitely more difficult as there are only few true moderates left in the liberal party. The next 4 years, will most likely filled with in fighting, leaks, and Newscorp / Foxnews Aud, will try their best to undermine her just like they did with Malcolm Turnbull.

They will be without any credible policy until about 2.5 years in. Then, the more conservative side of the liberal will take over, lead by Angus Taylor and Jacinta Price. And this time, their slogan will be steering Australia back. - or something similar.

Weeks from the election, they will go back to drill baby drill fossil fuel energy future, vow to fire hundreds of thousands of public servants, attempt to ban immigration, brutalize trans / homosexual community, and kick the indigenous. And that would be their next election pitch.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this Election was RIGGED.

I bet the Left will push it's 'celebrity Media' Republic via a total capitulation of any opposition here.
A Republic that uses the United Kingdoms Monarchy as it's excuse.

Because in pushing this 'political' change, the Great Britain side of it is the Political, not the United Kingdom and Monarchy.
