US Soft Power Collapsing - Global Perception
May 17th, 2025 at 8:11pm

Ranking of Most Popular Countries

Democracy Perception Index 2025

People’s perceptions of countries vary widely across the world, revealing sharp divides in global opinion. Countries like
Switzerland, Singapore, and Qatar are viewed most positively by those who rated them (neighbors or major trading partners).
Among the select countries rated by respondents from across all countries, Israel stands out as having the most negative global
perception, followed closely by Russia and the United States. China, by contrast, receives a slightly positive net score.

With Switzerland and Singapore topping the list with the highest scores of global perception, and Australia at sixth, the US has collapsed recently to negative ratings.

This effect has been attributed to Trump's global unpopularity.

It's great that America is first. It's closely followed by Russia and North Korea, with Canada and Ukraine wiped off the list.

Perceptions shmerceptions, Meister. Some say Elon's accidental Nazi salute was just a harmless fly-swatting exercise, mkay?

Let's give the Trump regime the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure he plans to create a lovely democracy for the American people to live in.

Free from corruption, nepotism, a healthy rule of law, with habius corpus and due process for all.

You know, all those wonderful things his followers say no longer count.

You?

Yep, well...

With Elon Musk down there with Kim Kardashian on the global perceptions of the world's most (in)famous persons, I guess even a boob job won't help him.

Mark Zuckerberg might want to watch out, he might get what he's after, if what he's after is to be on par with Trump in global perceptions.

Habius Corpus?? - watched a documentary on him once... Roman compulsive hoarder of dead bodies?

Rome had a trade-off in tough love. You lost family who were sold into slavery but pax romana was worth money.  Then Rome became neither tough nor love.  Trump's lost it, Putin's losing it and Xi is laughing.
