When they say bigger than Texas….

Now I understand why!
Texans do everything huge!

Our friends are in Dallas TX and she put up a video of this petrol station … it’s like a small city!
Wow ….
I took a screenshot as I don’t know how to put video from fb up.
Now I’m thinking I would love to go there to check out the place… I’ve put it in the pipeline of places to yet see.

When I was in America I went to the hotel lobby and asked them where the nearest service station was and they all looked at me with funny looks. One of the bell hops came over and told them I wanted to get gasoline.

Ah yes, we shorten that to Servo Grin

Some words we use in Aussie land don’t quite match their own descriptions.
Like biscuits- they say cookies.
And our Queenslanders have their strange takes on words too… in Victoria we say potato cakes, they call it scollops!
But they’re a weird mob anyway Grin
