Great news! Although, 2025 and this is still an issue.

Cue pages of lunatic rants from Crappler that nobody will read.

mothra beat me to it with 'her' lunatic rant ......... and none dare call it Misandry ....... anyone who calls out the New Labor 'equal treatment' policy that says 'at LEAST 50% women' - meaning it could result in 100% women and no men at all - true equality and equity that!! ..... is called a misogynist in Modernspeak.  Truly we dwell in the darkest of times.... where all truth has become lies and all lies truth...

Here is part of a post I placed elsewhere:-

"most things are past and the past is a foreign country where the borders are permanently closed ... well - nearly - the past was a closed border until the 'governments' deemed themselves worthy of total control over Information... 'a free exchange of information is one guarantee of a free society' - JFK. Think on this .... a government that controls information controls its populace.... and the Ministry for Truth is not about truth telling - it is about creating the truth it wants you to hear and accept... such as about the mythical 'misogyny' - when it comes about that The People LOSE the Right to speak about things within their own elected government - for fear of being yelled at and abused and name-called - then our Democracy has failed its people and its purpose.... and our society has become one of hooligans and bullies..."

D'ye hear the pipes callin'?  The Clans must gather or be doomed!

"Following the general election held on 23 March 2024, women now comprise: 49% of the House of Assembly. 60% of the Legislative Council.".

Must be getting close to their mythical 'equity' by now, ay?

Now let's see what good they can do.... I won't be holding my breath.

I support women - not feminists - and least of all - feminist supremacists with all their silly ideas.

Before the election I sent Caz Heise a letter of encouragement - showing I support REAL women - not just party hacks and rent seekers looking for a sweet ride in life and imagining they suddenly inherit all power in the land instead of a duty of service.

I see no good coming from this - only more and more of the same failed half-baked ideas.

When it all comes to pass - you know where you heard it first - and I TOLD YOU SO!

There you go - you confessed - so there is ZERO reason to persist with pushing them into everything - let them take their chances on a level playing field....

The ideas they come up with - you need to get out more and start thinking about those. Take a look around you at what 'feelings rule' has done to the West... just about brought it to its knees.

Now then - when is Labor - for example - going to rid itself of its discriminatory and sexist policy of 'at least 50% women' and the other parties stop running scared of being name-called if they don't promote and employ more women?  When they reach 100%?  They're already on average paid 10% more than men - they have been situated in all the fine superannuation schemes for years now and when super reaches its 'lifespan' of fifty years (a working life) - watch what happens... check out the REAL figures.

Get back to me in a year's time ... let's see how they all go.... let's SEE exactly which despotic ideas they run up the flag-pole....

It's interesting that Dutton got caught out with his "back to the office" policy,  which alienated more women than men, because (working) women are still devoting  more of their time to look after kids.

Might have even cost him his seat....

At what point did public servants develop the Right to work from home?  They were granted that option during Covid - no more.... and now it's time to return to work and not holiday from home and saving costs on travel and childcare and so forth.  The4re is also no Right to work from home and care for your kids - they have other options that are less destructive of social cohesion and economic considerations.

Of COURSE - when you load your public service up with women - more women will take it hard if they are told to go back to work!!

He should have kept it quiet and then had the heads of departments order a return to work.  If they can't do their jobs - they should not be there... end of story.

And YOU brought up women in this... foot in mouth disease...

Can brickies, nurses, policemen, truckies, school teachers, paramedics, waiters, cooks, soldiers etc work from home?

Does that mean nobody can? Even though it saves businesses a bucket-load of cash, saves workers cash, reduces emissions and contributes massively to worker well-being and family cohesion?

Hell, we could even turn some of those unnecessary buildings into residential properties. Imagine!

Public servants are not paid to work from home and actually have extra cash from not having to pay expenses for work like the peasants - that's a bonus payment and is not warranted by anything... they also save on childcare and do up the house etc or go on a holiday with the laptop onboard and work from a resort - all while 'working' on full bloated pay ... that is NOT part of the work contract..

Cops and firies should all work from home - save on uniforms and equipment damage and such... nurses would do a great job from home ... doctors, garbage men - you name it ... all granted equity, ay?

You have no case for public servants continuing to work from home... back to the office NOW!

49% of the lower house and 60% of the senate is hardly 'equity' is it? Let's see which of you fools will bite on that one ...... if you have the balls that is.... time for a reset back to reality.

No.
It means WFH is not a public service entitlement.

Make them freelance contractors if they want to dictate/control where and how they work.
Otherwise negotiate. If the department wants you on site, be on site. You are a public SERVANT, after all.

It's not just the public sector, the private sector is doing it too. It's saving everybody money, reducing emissions and adding to both quality of life and family cohesion.

You'd have to be some kind of prick to resent that.
