She wouldn't have lasted long if Columbo was on the case.   Roll Eyes

She went to an area known to have death caps and it was all
traced on her mobile phone.

Of course Columbo could only keep one eye on the case.

Good comment from another site:

She had a Labrador, but didn't give it the beef Wellington she chucked in the bin.

It's weird that the dog didn't get the special high value meat treat that was binned,
usually such a high value meat treat wouldn't be wasted like this which makes me suspicious.
After she spent so much money on the meat and you had some left over
you would at least give it to the dog before putting it into the bin.

It's so expensive to feed dogs that no one would chuck
beef Wellington containing big chunks of ribeye fillet in the rubbish bin -
it would either go in the fridge for yourself the next day
or you would feed it to your dog.
There is not a dog in the world that could resist it.

Depends if it had onions in it, also I would not give my dog pastry.

I don't know anything about this case but I'm careful what I give my dog.

Have the prosecutors said what the motive was?

Fridays are shorter sitting days in court,
which means proceedings for the day will start about 10.30am and conclude by 1pm,
unlike other weekdays when they wrap up at 4.15pm.

the main guest she would have wanted to murder didn't turn up.

Who was the main guest, and why did she want to murder them?

I haven't followed the story that closely, and all the evidence seems to indicate that she's guilty, but I can't find a motive.

Did I miss something?

Dunno yet - estranged husbands are usual murder targets.

He wasn't there, though.

So what was the motive for killing the other people?

Patience my son - patience -

just follow the trial and we'll all find out.

Maybe she is just crazy and wanted to murder as many people as possible?

Seems strange that the motive has never been mentioned.
