She’s a country hick, simple township folk and to date had no criminal wrongdoing.

I have something for you to read if you really believe that.

Who is Erin Patterson, the host of Australia's infamous mushroom lunch?

Good article how all this money came to be!

And this I believe her work colleagues say…

"I think that she is clever. She's crafty, but she's not as clever as she thinks."

All that intelligence around her…..yet foiled it all …. fumbling, and wouldn’t intelligence tell one that putting any left over poison in the bin… the cops will surely check it!
I don’t even put anything with our details, name etc in the bin… I rip that stuff to shreds and plonk it in the fireplace.
All this talk she is smart, intelligent etc. yet I don’t see it.

I see where she got the idea she lied about having cancer… both her parents died of cancer.
Was she the family cook then too?

So, if you read it... Not a "a country hick, simple township folk and to date had no criminal wrongdoing."

I laughed out loud when I read her work colleagues called her "Nutter Scutter".

Yet…. It appears she was because….she wanted to blend in, feel a need to belong or accepted.
It was said she’s like a chameleon and changes with whomever she is talking with.
So country hick it is  Smiley
As for criminal past… is this it?

In the same year Erin met Simon, she had her first serious brush with the law.

In June 2004, Erin was almost three times over the legal limit when she was involved in a drunken crash at Glen Waverley.

Court records reveal she was driving an unregistered car and didn't stop after the crash or give her name and address. She was also driving 35km/h over the speed limit in a 60 kilometres per hour zone.

Erin pleaded guilty to five charges and was convicted and fined $1,000, which she elected to pay in $40 monthly instalments.

Her licence was cancelled and she was disqualified from driving in Victoria for two and a half years.

I have to agree. I don’t know anyone who listens to them.

Be interesting to see how they get on in court.

Most likely be a media circus

There are a lot of memes and satire articles out about Erin Patterson.

I personally feel they are disgraceful.

There is nothing at all funny about what she did.

Comment,
We also note Kyle never fails but to resort to fat-shaming and
gendered slurs about any woman he doesn’t approve of. OF COURSE.

Kyle,

“This big lump, this miserable looking woman!
Hasn’t she done something like this before, the mushroom thing?
The rest of us already know! Lock that bitch up! Open and shut case!”

It would be interesting to hear from some of the subpoenaed witnesses -
especially doctors or medical people.
I wonder how happy they were to have to appear in court
so far from Melbourne in a place with insufficient proper accommodation?
Were they required to be there for days at a time waiting for
a short 1 hour appearance in court?
What about all their patients in Melbourne?
Were their lives put at risk?
Were they in constant contact via phone or video link to
keep tabs on their patients?
Did operations or medical procedures get cancelled?
Did they lose a lot of money?
Did they give short answers to complicated questions just
to get out of there and get back to work?

Just how evil could anyone be?

I am unsure if it was some underlying narcissistic or if she was a psychopath. She has supposedly lived life crime free up until she murdered those people. People thought she was quite normal.

So what could it have been?

Was she so full of hate and resentment to the point she committed the crime? Because real hate can really consume a person. It is why forgiveness is such a powerful thing.

There are no excuses for what she did. Murder is wrong, but the method she used was quite cruel. It was literally death via rapid liver failure. Not really the way a person would want to exit this life.

The church group Erin was in and people of the township are not in hate mode, and have forgiveness in their heart… and some even feel sorry for her.
She was easy pickings for such a horrid big media circus and court case.
I think she is just a very simple misguided not very bright person.
A bit like a child that got caught doing something naughty and lied about it as some children do.

She's a calculating pathological liar & apparently has been all her life. A real Femme Fatale when she was younger.

So, who'll play Erin in the Netflix mini-series?

Toni Collette?

No - she used to have a high IQ job as an air traffic controller.

She is an evil, cunning manipulator of other people
and a cruel mass murderer.
Even our maximum penalty available cannot be enough justice for her.

You sound like you know her personally! What is her IQ scale?

She’s a country hick, simple township folk and to date had no criminal wrongdoing.

If she had such a high IQ…. Why is she in such a sordid mess…. Not very well planned out IMO.

A trial that has 7 weeks of evidence, 6 days of summing up and 6.5 days of jury deliberation for someone who is a country simpleton?

I don't think so...... I think that is the picture she was trying to paint.

Quote:
The hero doctor who first alerted police to Patterson’s murder plot, said the killer had “probably already climbed the hierarchy” inside prison.

“I think anybody who messes with her is going to regret it,” he said.

She’s not just evil, she’s intelligent.
