She should have known what death caps looked like.

I have had a bit of experience watching court cases and
the intelligence of the person on trial always came up and
was mentioned by the magistrate.
I seemed to me that the more intelligent someone was the more severe the sentence.
Since Erin was in a high IQ air traffic control job – ATC – it will count against her.
Not only that but ATC is all about public safety.

She's devious.  She's smart.  She's wholly responsible for the deaths of 3 people.  She almost killed her husband.  Fortunately he survived.

She knew what death cap mushrooms looked like.  She made sure she and her children didn't eat any.  If she was totally innocent she would have eaten those mushrooms herself.  She tried to blame an Asian grocer ... but funnily enough no one else who bought mushrooms from that grocer died.

If she is found not guilty it will be biggest travesty of all time.   But lots of people on juries are loathe to convict.  And the verdict has to be unanimous.  There are 14 people on that jury and regardless of their decision, she will always be guilty in my mind.

Yep - I reckon it is was a planned multi murder
but the judge seems to be on her side.

Well that's typical of judges - it's a revolving door from the courtroom to the street.

Look how many murderers were set loose to murder again thanks to judges.  We've had several instances in the news recently.   Angry

The police prosecutor has completed blown this.

He should be looking at a future job at Bunnings.

He proved she’s a liar not a murderer.

The correct charge was always manslaughter. Which she gave statements admitting to.

“ a dingo put the mushrooms in the meal “.

Our judges must work with the Pathetic arguments police often put in front of them.

Not the other way around.

Was she ever asked to identify death cap mushrooms from some pictures?

What was her experience at picking wild mushrooms?

Interestingly there is also this case aginst her attempting to murder husband that was dropped !

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-04-29/erin-patterson-mushroom-murder-trial-morwell/105229946

Prosecutors have dropped three attempted murder charges against Erin Patterson, which related to alleged attempts to kill her estranged husband Simon Patterson.

If she gets off the current one maybe this one will be reserructed?

Down to 12. Two jurors dismissed for talking about the case to family and friends.

Not that I heard - 2 let go as they were not needed to make the 12 required -
they were always held in reserve.
