This is remarkably unremarkable and it is one of the obvious flaws in the Jury system.  If anyone really believes Jurors do NOT discuss the day by day events of Trials with at least one Family Member, then you are denying human nature and common sense.  Sequestration is the answer especially when a person's liberty is at stake.  Yes, it costs large but, if we are fair dinkum about it, that is only way to prevent pillow talk.

Link.

Jury sequestration means a jury is isolated from the public and media during a trial to prevent outside influences from impacting their decision-making. This isolation typically involves jurors being housed together in a hotel or other location with limited contact with family, friends, or the public, and they are often prohibited from accessing news reports or other information about the case.

I wonder what evidence is being covered up?

If the cops would have found witchcraft books at her home would
they hide that from the court or would the Judge prevent it being disclosed?

I’ve been working so not really up on everything but it seems-

1 the police haven’t established a motive.

2 the police cannot prove it was death cap mushrooms added by her too the meal.

3 Mushroom experts are on record saying that what they have been shown aren’t death cap mushrooms.

There is now rumours of the occult and witchcraft.

Hmmmm, another “ dingoes got my baby “ case?

Was the poison something all together different? Added by someone without her knowing?

I do note the estranged husband new the dinner party was on.

More than one cook in the kitchen?

Interesting. I’m really 50/50 on if she’s guilty.

What was her motivation?

That's not a motive.

I still feel in my gut that she's guilty (although I still couldn't convict if I was on the jury), but I'm wondering why the prosecutors haven't mentioned a motive (yes, I know they don't have to).

Let's, just for the sake of the argument, say that she is guilty of premeditated murder.

Why did she do it?

It’s interesting. I don’t pretend to be a lawyer ( hi Aussie) but I just can’t see how they have proven she actually put the poison in the food.

You can’t lock someone up for murder ( 4 years, good behaviour, out in 2) on a vibe can you?

Do witches need a motive? -
I'm curious.

Usually, yes.

So, what was her motive?

It seems that there's not a single person on the planet who can answer that question.

For me, that raises a big red flag.

They haven't.

The evidence against her certainly looks damning, but they haven't proven her guilt and they haven't suggested a motive.
