Jailed former NSW Labor minister Eddie Obeid will not be pursued for $30 million made from a corrupt coal licence deal due to the web of complexity around the money.

Amazing, isn't it?  If it were you or I we'd be stripped of everything.

Now then - about my call for some massive changes in business rules..... if there is no legible paper trail to show who is responsible for what - the automatic assumption must be that the money's at where it's at in combination of ALL the 'businesses' and each pays ...  Where the cash is 'rested' is who pays the bill.  No more shifting between companies and saying they are not the same .. participation in a criminal or corrupt act should bear its own penalty.

Membership of a criminal gang of companies.......
