I'm sure Marla is flattered that you keep screenshots like that, Bobby.  Grin

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Bobby needs an entire separate hard drive to keep all his screenshots from the last 10 or 20 years.. lol.

Here you go, Bobby... just for you:

Marla is a member of ANTIFA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifa_(United_States)

Antifa  is a left-wing anti-fascist and anti-racist political movement in the United States.

It consists of a highly decentralized array of autonomous groups that use nonviolent direct action, incivility, or violence to achieve their aims.[1][2] Antifa political activism includes non-violent methods such as poster and flyer campaigns, mutual aid, speeches, protest marches, and community organizing.[3][4][5] Some who identify as antifa also use tactics involving digital activism, doxing, harassment, physical violence, and property damage. Supporters of the movement aim to combat far-right extremists, including neo-Nazis and white supremacists.[6]

Individuals involved in the movement subscribe to a range of left-wing ideologies, and tend to hold anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist, and anti-state views. A majority of individuals involved are anarchists, communists, and socialists,[7] although some social democrats also participate in the antifa movement.[5][8][9] The name antifa and the logo with two flags representing anarchism and communism are derived from the German antifa movement.[10] Dartmouth College historian Mark Bray, author of Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook, credits Anti-Racist Action (ARA) as the precursor of modern antifa groups in the United States.

Trump won't be in power for very long. His successor will be in a good position to negotiate whatever trade deals Trump does not do himself. China is the only likely hold-out.

Your quote does not appear to distinguish between short and long term impact. Obviously there is no denying a short term negative impact, as it has already happened.

Hi FD. How is it possible to obtain a positive long term impact when the rest of the world is responding with reciprocal tariffs?

That's a question. Up for an answer?

That's not how the rest of the world is responding. Many countries are offering to remove tariffs and subsidies. Trump may tip the balance in countries that have always been politically hamstrung in their efforts to remove subsidies. I am hoping it brings about the end to farming subsidies in particular. I think the US and the EU have a lot of them.

The CCP would obviously prefer to crap on it's own plate than negotiate with Trump, but hopefully they end up isolated as a result.

It'll be a good read when they find out who bailed the dumbcunt out, or threatened him, like Bessent may have by threatening to resign... How many cabinet secretaries threatened to walk if Trump didn't reverse course, I wonder.

75 national leaders kissed his arse??!! F~ck off... bullshit.

The stock market didn't so much rally as was 'fixed', such that last week didn't happen.

Who got rich?

Cui bono?

It's all about 'stepping back' and leaving the suckers out in front to fight over a dead end golden fleece.
Britain's  Brexit was a stepping back to leave France out in front to face the music.
Now Trump is doing the same with America and hopefully Dutton will do the same here with Australia.

When China invades Russia officially ( it already has in a few ways). Russia will call on America for help and America will say "No can do sorry. "
When the Moslems do to France, what Germany did to the Jews. You can understand why Britain is saying to France "Well, if you think you are the superior nation. Then best of luck with Islam"  Grin

I think ME, you don't realise what is really afoot and why. You're close, but this time it's not about 'stepping up' to challenge Germany like Britain had to, it's all about stepping back.

Australia has just refused China's offer to 'join hands' to fight America's tariffs.
China casts the first stone of desperation.

Step back from China.  Wink
...it's all about stepping back.
