The ABC is publicly funded and therefore should have no bias, or perception of bias.

Private news outlets, like News, Granuiad, Schwartz Media, can be as biased as they like. Not the ABC.

That's one reason I turned away from the ABC - I used to watch and prefer ABC, SBS sometimes and even NITV for the views given - but SBS and NITV started being nothing but propaganda organs and the ABC disgraced itself by cutting up interviews to present their 'official' view and then this shouting over people and interrupting in mid-reply instead of reasoned debate.
