HAMAS was supported by Israel as a counter balance to more secular PLO, so that the nation of Palestine will not happen.   

BOTH Israel and HAMAS need to leave Gaza.  Leave the people alone, with their land.  Let them get on with their lives, and trade with others.

I've never once argued for hamas, or said that they weren't terrorists. I just recognise that they aren't the only terrorists in this.
