As a Constitutional scholar and proud American, you must have a view on its verdict that states are perfectly free to regulate firearms.

Your Constitution can hardly be chopped, changed and reinterpreted at whim, no?

Please correct me if I've misinterpreted your previously expressed statements.

I agree with the Supreme Court for the most part, but if you read their decisions, especially the 2008 Heller decision & most recently the 2022 Bruen decision.....which further defines the rules of the game, you will find that so long as the States follow the US Constitution (& naturally the rulings of the Supreme Court) they are free to pass firearm legislation......subject, as always, to the appeals by the People & future SCOTUS rulings/decisions regarding the Second Amendment & the Rights of the American People, if a State's Legislation steps out of line......which they seem to do more & more frequently these days...

Just, as with most all things, nothing is absolute.....
