You been inside a hospital recently?
No - only Coles supermarkets -
one at a shopping center and one as a separate supermarket.
There is always someone coughing and sneezing there.
My mother died recently from a mystery virus (but she also had pneumonia, which was listed as the cause of death on her death certificate).
The doctors in the hospital said they had no idea what it was, which meant they had no idea how to treat it.
They told her they could do some more tests and study the virus in a petri dish, but it would take a few days for the virus to grow and then another few days to test which drugs would be the best to treat it with (and then the drugs would have to come from overseas, which could take another week).
They said she didn't have that long to wait, as the virus was so aggressive that she would be lucky to survive another 48 hours.
She passed away three days later.
They never found out what the virus was
That's terrible - we never know for whom the bell tolls -
it could be me this time -
although 1 hour after a couple of Panadols my temp returns to normal
and I don't feel too bad.
I'm sure you'll be okay.
My mother was in her mid/late 80s, in a wheelchair, fed through a tube in her stomach, very frail and inflicted with many ailments.
It was just her time, sadly.
Thankfully, the mystery virus enabled her to have a very peaceful death.
As the doctors had no way to treat it, they hooked up a little machine to her stomach with morphine and sedatives.
She sent herself off to a painless, peaceful end while I sat by her bed.
But anyway, you're not old and frail so you'll be fine.
