Trump is a FOOL.

How can he mediate when with one hand he offers an olive branch to the Russians and with the other he is pointing a gun.

He is sending 38 billion worth of arms to the Ukraine how can he mediate.

The peace talks how can you have peace talks with only half the of the two parties at war sitting at the table.

It does not matter what formulaes the USA & Ukraine make if Russia is not there it is meaningless and pointless.

Russia has won the war the Ukrainians are now being killed because Zelenskyy does not care about them and is listening to his masters rather than caring for the people that elected him.

To the winner go the spoils, he Zelenskyy is not in a position to dictate anything.

Last I heard he only has 4% support from the people that are left.

Time he held elections so the real president of the Ukraine can negotiate peace.

As for Trump the best thing he could have done is walk away from the conflict.

Dear old Joe started it and Trump should say I'm outta here.

Putin knows Trump won't threaten Russia because he knows America don't have the appetite for a slug it out war. Zelensky has nothing he is at Putins mercy, be humble and secure the best deal for your people and don't make it personal or Putin will make you pay.

Is all that right, no its a damn shame the Ukrainian people have to go through this and end up with the short straw. Its up to them though to improve what they have and work towards the future they want.

Yeah.

It really should be.

If Putin does the right thing, his troops shouldn't be punished for it.

And given that the concern has been NATO membership for Ukraine, now that the US has ruled that out, Putin should be able to withdraw and return the territory his forces now occupy.

Unless of course, the excuse of NATO was complete and total bullshit.

So, if the deal ensures Ukraine doesn't get what it wants, which would be and end to the wait, their land back and a Russian withdrawal, does that mean Putin gets what he wants?

No NATO membership, Russia keeps the land they've stolen and gets a share of Ukraine's resources with the US?

What kind of deal is that for Ukraine?
