Since Trump has done this, we'll need to brand the following resulting impacts, should they come to pass, as his:

Trump's ecosystem collapse and potential extinction of species (e.g., delta smelt, salmon).

Trump's increased salinity in the Delta, harming agriculture and drinking water.

Trump's loss of biodiversity in rivers, wetlands, and estuaries.

Trump's accelerated groundwater depletion and land subsidence.

Trump's escalation of federal-state conflicts over water management.

Trump's threats to drinking water quality in urban areas.

Trump's inequitable water access, favouring agribusiness over vulnerable communities.

Trump's reduced drought resilience due to mismanaged water resources.

Trump's loss of wetlands and carbon sinks, worsening climate change impacts.

Trump's harm to fishing industries and loss of related livelihoods.

You mean as opposed to the Democrats who emptied a reservoir in California in February 2024, and hadn't even started work on repair. A tear in its cover even. Wink

Also, the River Smelt has been seen for 10 years. Wink

Just another Trump lie. Nothing unusual - move along nothing to see here - move along.

Quote:
The California Department of Water Resources on X said the military did not enter California and the water pumps being turned on were federal water pumps that were temporarily offline for maintenance.

"The military did not enter California. The federal government restarted federal water pumps after they were offline for maintenance for three days. State water supplies in Southern California remain plentiful," DWR said on X.

State Senate Mike McGuire also chimed in on the back and forth, adding that water from the Pacific Northwest doesn't flow into the Central Valley, reiterated that the federal pumps were temporarily down for repair and that "the military has not invaded the delta."

Nothing to say about this topic being based on a Trump Lie - it is just not true.

What happened is California shut down a pump for maintenance - it took 3 days and they turned the pump back on. There was no impact on water supply.

These are the risks of improper water management, and should what Trump claims to have done, if he's even done it, if it leads to those outcomes, then we brand them as his.

I didn't say it had already, we should just not shy away from branding the negative impacts of his actions as his instead of only the positives.

It's pretty simple.  If you don't like it you can just slip back into your TDS and pretend there has been nothing negative about Trump.

Not from anything in the press. I ask again - What 3 days was the federal water off? It is not a hard question. Possibly just a hard answer. Roll Eyes
