Peterson’s fame highlights how elitist liberalism can produce an internet-based reaction against itself. The internet has functioned as a place of refuge for Canadian conservatives deemed to be beyond the pale of the domestic political culture. Whether or not these figures can leverage their global internet popularity to spark a populist movement within the mainstream Canadian political sphere is explored in this article.

Did I (profess to be a more important intellectual than Peterson)? That says more about you than me.

Peterson, himself, has been the cause of many of the problems he faced in Canada.

Outside of what he's famous for, he's infamous for his public, crazed, infantile, enraged outbursts against anyone who criticises or critiques his work - something he, as a clinical psychologist, would recognise as symptoms of a personality disorder were he to identify it in others.

You'd know all that if your head wasn't stuck up his arse further than your ears.

Listen to Alex O'Connor's critique of Peterson, or Richard Dawkins' for example.

The Left and the bien pensant like Meister Icky want conformity. They want comfort, predictability, a collective nod.

The vibe shift against that is everywhere. There has been push- back in many countries and at many levels - tea party, Wilders, Boris and Abbott in opposition, Orban and Brexiters and others who know what living in a Soviet/EU mindset is like - but it is now coming together. Trump is a catalist.
Petersen, Steyn, Rogan [Your happy un-woke warrior here] are not 'respectable' like the bien pensant conformist like their betters. But they are not to be brushed aside any more.

Intellectual conformism is out, finally.

Just days from Donald Trump's inauguration, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates revealed he had a three-hour dinner with the President-elect, calling the meeting "intriguing" and "impressive."

"I had a chance, about two weeks ago, to go have a long and actually quite intriguing dinner with him," Mr Gates told The Wall Street Journal.

Their conversation, which he described as "wide-ranging," touched on various topics, including HIV, polio, and the COVID-19 pandemic. "I spoke a lot about HIV and that [The Gates] Foundation is literally working on a cure for that. We're at an early stage," he told WSJ's Editor-in-Chief Emma Tucker.

The billionaire entrepreneur was particularly "impressed" by Trump's energy and willingness to drive innovation. "I felt like he was energised and looking forward to helping to drive innovation," Mr Gates said. "I was frankly impressed with how well he showed a lot of interest in the issues I brought up."

When Gates had dinner with Biden. It was the complete opposite. Biden would fall asleep at fifteen minutes intervals for five minutes. Waking only to pick his nose, ask the waitress about her sex life and could he sniff her hair? He ordered only icecream and thought Gates was Musk and ended the night's dinner thinking he had just sat for the G7 Summit.
