When I decided to open a home brew shop I needed to find a name. Something wet like “Unley Home Brew & Baking” wouldn’t serve.

Now, in Belgium there are trappist monks who brew delicious beers like Chimay Dubbel, Tripel and even Quadrupel. In Lent these monks fast by only consuming a special heavy ale. I would be pretty jovial after a few weeks of such a diet Grin

So the Jovial Monk HBS was created. And so was a handle for here and a couple other places.
