A 'slash and burn' budget from the Coalition would be even worse; government spending is the only reason Oz isn't in recession now.

But why should a currency-issuing government be forced to borrow money from (ie, sell bonds to ) rich people - people who don't need interest payments on their spare cash paid by the public sector?

Consumption by rich people, as well as poor people for whom the essentials are also vital, needs to be controlled if supply chains are inadequate and causing inflation.

And as expected, the dumb mainstream media are banging on about the government's  "budgets as far as the eye can see" bs; just shows how blind people are, when it comes to the government's macro-economic management - not the same as micro-economics and the  household budget;  ignoring the effect of cutting debt  on the people who rely on government spending.

Hence Germany, France and now Canada - the latest examples of governments who are collapsing under fiscal pressures.

On ACA right now - failure of the Northern borders impacting on Aborigines - they're scared, and are calling on The Invaders to stop the New Invaders.

Illegal Immigrants arriving unnoticed they say... only Aboriginal Rangers to stop them and ask questions.

We are still paying for the colossal debt run up by Rudd/Gillard/Rudd2.0 and will be for some time to come. Can’t keep spending like it’s free.

Australia will need gas imports despite 2025 surplus, ACCC warns

The admission will elevate concern about how Australia — one of the world’s largest LNG exporters — is forced to import gas to meet demand from Victoria and NSW

If Albo and Chwissy Bowels were in charge of Saudi Arabia they would need to import sand.

Who cares? which of the points on that table are incorrect? You don't need the source to dispute what it says
