This is a thread I can agree with.

The way our politicians dress is deadset pathetic.

We have even had them in the house in basically pj”s.

It reflects on both their self and our country.

To lazy to wear appropriate clothes while deciding our National future.

Pathetic the lot of them!

Do their meters mysteriously stop working late at night, meaning that they can't get it fixed until the next day, and therefore they'll have to ask you to negotiate a cash price in advance?

Albanese bought a house for $4 million recently. And he was divorced by his wife for an apparent sexual disparity between them. I doubt that he is the biological father of any of his children.

Not sure what happens in other states, but this is exactly what happens in WA ... every night, and usually at the airport.

Grin Grin Grin

Would probably still work out cheaper than parking your car at the airport.

About a month ago on Perth Airport's Facebook page they were telling everyone about the 5 billion dollar upgrades they were doing - new runway, new hotel, new multi storey carpark, etc.

Someone asked if the parking would still be more expensive than the airfares.. lol.

Remember, years ago, when they tried to stop people parking on Fauntleroy Ave, waiting for planes to arrive?

Arseholes.

Someone also said on Perth Airport's Facebook page that if he wanted to get robbed he'd go to Armadale train station at midnight or Perth Airport at any time of the day. Grin

And he wasn't just talking about parking fees. Food and drink, etc. prices are also outrageous.

Oh, and I wonder what happened to the wonderful train link that runs through Perth Airport to Forrestfield that they spent goodness knows how much money on about 6 or 7 years ago (including tunnelling under the runways)?

Does anyone use it? Because I've heard it's a bit of a 'white elephant'.

Before it opened there was talk about how it would be great for the early morning FIFO workers except that the trains wouldn't start running early enough... and as far as I know they still don't. Roll Eyes

The taxi drivers in Japan are Japanese and there's next to no chance of getting ripped off. There are supposed to be a few unlicensed taxis around but haven't seen one.

Taxis in Tokyo are about double the price of Sydney while in Kyoto, about 25% less. All of the taxis are spotlessly clean and the drivers impeccably dressed in suits.

When I did taxi. I always got good tips because I always kept it immaculate. I made more in tips than Aussie. I was so professionally good. I used such tips to cover those who I knew were battling hard.

Yeah, but that's all airports.

I remember paying something like 30 Euro for a glass of Jacob's Creek wine at Dubai Airport in 2017.

Just a glass - not a bottle.
