Aussie lost his nuts when they couldn't convict Deuce Bigbelow for rape based on accusation only and without substantive or substantiating evidence.  Hasn't been the same since.

As for 'law and order' here - the infinite preference given by politicians to certain groups of whiners and whingers has lead us to the point where some of those whiner and whingers will readily kill Jews, and this has come about because the violent types were not ridden over from the beginning.  Does it take a Jewish student or someone to be killed before any real action is taken?

Albo's lasting legacy will not be of 'the great statesman who united White and Aboriginal Australia and handed inclusion to all other groups of 'victims' - it will be that he has woken the Australian people to the very real peril his kind have put us all in, on EVERY social science front.

In the past I have been very kind to the man, suggesting that his real intentions were to do just that - wake the Australian people up so they will demand lasting solutions to all the problems wrought over forty+ years.... but we will have to wait upon history's slow tread to see what comes of that.

Yemen is being pounded by everyone.

Syria remains a cypher given that nobody truly knows which way the 'freedom fighters' will go - they may simply become another Jew-hating group and will in turn require being settled down.

Trump is walking into a perfect position, with the Middle East temporarily resolved, "Ras" Putin on the ropes and seeking a blustering peace deal that looks like he is giving out the terms.... all of which Xi China will be looking over their shoulders aghast at... so Trump enters the fray of international brinkmanship and control over trade and economics with a very strong hand.

I can just see Allies like Japan, The Philippines and Vietnam sharpening their swords for a little payback....... while China pulls back from its expansionism ...  we can make a deal......

A lot depends on the Bench, the salute man may not have made a good impression, so no bail.
The other, presumably before a different court may have presented well and made an impression on the Beak, there may have been nowhere to hold him in safety of his person, so he got bail in the pious, but unstated, hope that he might top himself if given the chance.
