Xmas decor and all that jazz…
Dec 11th, 2024 at 2:42pm

I cannot, for the life of me… find my little Xmas tree with flashing lights I bought last year!
In the meantime… I’m going overboard with tinsel!
It’s still not the same …
Looking in old boxes I had stored with Xmas written in it… I found very antique baubles… those breakable ones… remember those?
Anyway… just for the heck of Xmas cheer… trying to destress…. Tinsel is cheery!   Cool
First I attacked the entry hallway!

Then the corner cabinet looked quiet… so I attacked it too… even the light stand wasn’t omitted!

John knows… it’s a giraffe  Smiley
I’m still annoyed as to where the Xmas tree is.

Hey Monk…. Remember before COVID hue here was a big place I told you about called hunted and collected? And it sadly ended up closing down because of 2 x COVID lockdowns?

Remember I said opposit was the iconic Fonzie’s Diner?
Very happy days with waitresses dressed 50s and heaps of classic cars go there.
We just drove past and it’s different, plain colours, different business…

Well Fonzie’s was a family business… started before COVID bs and they had to close down in October, saud with heart breaking news since COVID closure they were chasing their tails financially.

They’ve sold off all that memorabilia… there were signed posters too!
I’m devastated!  Cry

I am only disappointed that Hunted and Collected are shut.

Going back to SA for a week or so around May next year—could have another gettogether? No time constraints this time.

You could smoke your pot and listen to Hunters and Collectors quite comfortably, Marla. I could imagine you rugging up on New Year's Eve and blazing away to the tune of "True Tears of Joy" in the background.
