All this said, Trans issues came in at the bottom of what people polled voted about.

But by all means, continue being hysterical.

Nobody ever built a political strategy on trans issues.

Could this place actually be any more ridiculous?

Harris stupidly was on record promising transition therapy/surgery to illegals inmates in US prisons.

Democrat doorknockers reported that it was the number 1 question asked of them by prospective Democrat voters.

That is miles away from a political strategy being built on trans issues.

Check yourself.

Oh really? What's the usual point of making public statements of that kind if not stating a party's political strategy? In Harris's case to signal the party's ultra-progressive stance?

Do you think she was expressing a personal opinion?

Harris was trying to divert attention away from the issues people really cared about like -
how much money was in their pocket?
were they better off today than 4 years ago?

People didn't fall for it.

She could have used, say, climate change, the cost of tertiary education, a Sanders-style issue... but, no, she threw her chips in on transgender issues.

It proves the insular state of US Democrat politics... Transgender issues, as part of campaign strategies, were already in rapid decline in Britain and Europe... Only Islamic states, like Iran and Pakistan, saw something in it to evade the Koranic prohibition on homosexuality.

Not according to the Democrat doorknockers. What people tell pollsters online or over the phone is another issue.

The revulsion of even discussing it with pollsters was probably seen as perverted by Americans... that and the fear that blue-hairs pollsters would target those who spoke out against it.

NOPE. trans issues ranked at the bottom of issues concerning voters in the election. Despite all the fuss.

i'll let you you speak for the fuss. you seem to be on board.

The reason why nearly all pollsters got the 2024 election outcome so wrong, is what people tell pollsters does not reflect the issues they're really voting for/against nor the person they're voting for/against.

The 2016 polls had Hillary Clinton winning by a massive landslide. The postmortem on why the polls got it so wrong was largely due to people's reluctance to admit they didn't like Clinton in case they were perceived as misogynistic.

What people tell doorknockers, however, tend to more accurately reflect the final result.

The Chinese CCP loves phone/online polls about satisfaction with the CCP. They usually record 95+% satisfaction.

Oh yes of course! Trans issues were at the forefront for voters in the last election and Harris built her political campaign around the issue.

Had you not been here to tell us so, we'd never have known.

Transgender was a strategy among other strategies. English specifies singular and plural without necessarily using context alone - it's the effect of the indefinite article.

However, it was one of the most contentious issues (using definite article).

If anyone made it political strategy, it was Trump.

It was certainly one of his political strategies which, even Democrat doorknockers admit, had a significant role in his landslide victory.

Harris also made a point of signalling her pronouns (she/her) - now mocked as (has/been).

The transgender issue is reminiscent of another women-driven activist cause - temperance societies - that resulted in Prohibition being established in the US Constitution's 18th Amendment - only to be repealed some years later, when the 18th's damage was fully realised, by the 21st Amendment.

Behold! Yet another Motte and Bailey fallacy laid out by Ecky.

And you don't even need to give him an inch. He just takes it!

All sorts of crazy poo happening in the Bailey right now.

All spawned from a false flag in the Motte. That Harris built a political strategy on Trans issues.

She did not.

Now THAT, mes enfants - is THE epitome of cynicism!!  Selective Cynicism to be sure but still...

Perhaps I could rope dividie into a dispute over Comparative Cynicism or something... but that would be too cynical of me....

So when they repeal transgenderism the current rising gangster class based on cutting and drugging kids behind closed doors, including in schools, smuggling in hormones etc, will have to go legit or find a new way to earn a dollar?
