The Swedish subs are more than adequate for the 'defence' of Australian shores and waters... Not so if the need to be part of the USA's 'down under' MERCENARY INVASIVE force into other nations waters.

Briyawwn. You need to wake up to the fact that your ADF is an overpaid, over powered and over budgeted shame on Australian culture the moment it started saluting America the Golden Fleece.

Right now, the case is being pushed to FORCE the enslavement of citizens to die for the incompetence of the ADF the moment War is officially declared involving Australia picking fights with others it can't win... Unless it enslaves it's citizens for it.
