......But this is just your way of deflecting.
You've equated all Palestinians to Hamas, to ISIS.
And in one cruel sentence, you helped the world justify killing against innocent people, many of them children.
I cannot agree with that.
I will never agree with that.
It is against my moral compass.
And I believe, if this is what you believe, then you would have already put a rift between you and god.
Hamas, war, Israel.tickleandrose,
If a thief knows the law.
And if the law is, that a thief should lose his hand.......
if his hand is cut off,
whose fault is it, when the thief loses his hand ?
tickleandrose,
Many people
are forced to suffer, in a war.
But i am sure, that you realise that.
tickleandrose,
If you are a person of faith,
and if you feel that my own public stance [regarding this conflict between Hamas and Israel],
is that of
a callous person,
towards 'innocent people' who have been killed, '....many of them children',
then i encourage you to pray to your God, and ask him to judge between you and myself.
Tell him, that because of the hardness of my heart, ......that i need to be chastised.
chastise = = reprimand severely..
Exodus 23:7
Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
Deuteronomy 4:2
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Psalms 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike;
he considereth all their works.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
Psalms 34:11
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Ezekiel 18:21
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
