https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babi_Yar

Babi Yar (Russian: Бабий Яр) or Babyn Yar (Ukrainian: Бабин Яр) is a ravine in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and a site of massacres carried out by Nazi Germany's forces during its campaign against the Soviet Union in World War II. The first and best documented of the massacres took place on 29–30 September 1941, in which some 33,771 Jews were murdered. Other victims of massacres at the site included Soviet prisoners of war, communists and Romani people.[1][2][3] It is estimated that a total of between 100,000 and 150,000 people were murdered at Babi Yar during the German occupation.[4]

The decision to murder all the Jews in Kyiv was made by the military governor Generalmajor Kurt Eberhard, the Police Commander for Army Group South, SS-Obergruppenführer Friedrich Jeckeln, and the Einsatzgruppe C Commander Otto Rasch. Sonderkommando 4a as the sub-unit of Einsatzgruppe C, along with the aid of the SD and Order Police battalions with the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police backed by the Wehrmacht, carried out the orders.[5][6][7] Sonderkommando 4a and the 45th Battalion of the German Order Police conducted the shootings. Servicemen of the 303rd Battalion of the German Order Police at this time guarded the outer perimeter of the execution site.[8][9][10][11]

The massacre was the largest mass-murder by the Nazi regime during the campaign against the Soviet Union,[12] and it has been called "the largest single massacre in the history of the Holocaust" to that particular date.[13] It is only surpassed overall by the later October 1941 Odessa massacre of more than 50,000 Jews (committed by German and Romanian troops), and by Aktion Erntefest of November 1943 in occupied Poland with 42,000–43,000 victims.[14

Let's get to the second part when the war is actually over for the Russians.

In 1945, the Soviet Union, true to its obligations to its allies, declared war on Japan and defeated its Kwantung Army in Manchuria.

In May 1945, Britain plans Operation Unthinkable to attack the Soviet Union.

In 1949, the United States developed a plan for Operation Dropshot.
"Dropshot included mission profiles that would have used 300 nuclear bombs and 29,000 high-explosive bombs on 200 targets in 100 cities and towns to wipe out 85 percent of the Soviet Union's industrial potential in a single stroke." - Wikipedia

Bloody Russians did not appreciate such benevolent steps of their good Allies and also began to work on nuclear weapons.

That's how it happened, Bobby  Wink

The pig posted several lines “The allies did not create a second front” but omitted “the allies creates the second front.”

Of course, North Africa, Sicily and Italy were all second fronts soaking up lots of German resources and armies.

The movie What did you do in the war, daddy? (1966) shows us how it was Smiley

This is Putin-RussianVeteran nonsense. After the atom bomb, Stalin declared war, from 8 Aug 1945 – 2 Sept 1945. 3 weeks with a defeated Japan.
Then on to fight Nazi Ukraine with its genocide of Russians and  an Orthodox Church which doesn't worship Putin.

Bloody Russians - you can't trust them -

We should never have helped them to win WW2.

We helped them win WW2 and how did they repay us?

They pointed 10s of 1,000s of nuke missiles at us.

We'll never help the Russians again - they can all go to hell.

In 2014 and 2022 - no country in Europe was ever going to invade Russia -
they wouldn't dare to even think about it.

Russia's real threat has always been China -
Russia stole huge territories from China in preceding centuries:
Gobi desert, Manchuria, Mongolia.

Now if China invades Russia no one will help them -
in some ways I hope China does - it would serve the Russians right.

The country devastated by the Nazis, which suffered multi-million losses and which continued to drive the Nazis out of Europe, nevertheless found the strength to help the Allies.

Bobby, what do you think of Operations Unthinkable and Dropshot?

And what do you think about the constant approach of the NATO military bloc to the borders of Russia?

And what do you think about the US withdrawal from various treaties that support the stability of the international security architecture?

And what do you think about the Western-backed changes of government on the borders with Russia and attempts to change the government in Russia itself?

It was to gain Sakhalin and Kuril islands. But the fight against the Fuhrer Zelensky continued with his nuclear-armed churches and 3 million storm troopers.

Russia should have been like China -

China got through the whole Cold War with only 1 dozen ICBM nuke missiles.

The Yanks never nuked China.

Listen RussiAnVetEraN ,

Russia could have been the greatest country on Earth
if it wasn't always run by gangsters.

It could have been so prosperous that people would want to join up with Russia and not the West.

Was the plan carried out? No.

Did the ruzzians have similar plans against the USA and Europe? I bet they did! Not only that, the ruzzians installed nuclear armed missiles in Cuba.

So, dry your tears, princess.
