Crowd sizes, his mutual love for Putin and Kim Jong-Un, he can stop wars with a single phone call (couch potato superman), how stupid his generals were, what whack jobs his cabinet secretaries were, how he's beaten all legal action brought against him (hasn't he been convicted??), how hot Air Force One pilots are (yer what??), the 2020 election was rigged (couldn't say how; he's so far ahead in the polls, thinks aliens might be here but he's not married to the idea, can't talk about the JFK files 'cos some people involved are still alive (!!), hasn't played golf or taken a day off in 55 days (didn't he nearly get shot at a golf course on a day off?)...

What other reason? Obsession with autocrats. Since he first got back from his North Korean love-in with Kim Jong-Un, he's taken to having everyone stand and applaud him when he walks into the room, just like Kim gets.

Kim's also got a hard-on for men in uniform.

Could be something to do with his hanging out with Roy Cohn - he was the one who took Donnie and moulded him into Donald J Trump. Cohn was a closet homosexual who died of AIDS.
