Most Middle Eastern people have not heard of Australia since after the Sydney Olympics. But, the recent Socceroo and Matilda successes have kept Australia in their headlines.

No argument. Having lived half my life overseas I just lol at how important our media and governments take themselves on the world stage.

A tiny population, isolated ,ruled by Great Britain responds immediately to American dog whistle.

Raygun is more well known overseas than Albo by far.

In fact I’m confident that statement applies to Australia as well!

Australia is just following America policy on the Middle East.

I suggest a better policy would be to stay the hell out of it and offer humanitarian aid to ALL effected.

If anyone believes for a second Albo, Duddo or Penny Wong has any influence in the Middle East you are delusional or work for them as a media adviser .

Let them fight it out.

It’s not “another “war on the other side of the world Australia should be involved in!
