I'm wary of TEALs for a couple of reasons.
They are yuppies with no finger on the pulse of the real world for many out there, if not most. Election to a comfortable income to add to their existing etc will not alter that.
They come from areas which are considered to be 'upwardly mobile' and thus the same applies. In Pittwater I doubt they'd entertain Tent City (Suburb # XX) at all... that would startle the horses and cause acts of indecency in the public squares!!!
Being women to date, they have escaped the real lessons of life through being a Protected Species accorded Accredited Victimhood Status and thus have received endless privileges starting at pre-school, and again therefore, must inevitably remain out of touch, for all of their tenure, with the REAL issues.
Many voters will offer them The Pussy Pass, and will, unfortunately but in real life terms, think that an attractive woman can do no wrong etc. Political recent history has shown they are AT LEAST equal sharks to men in politics and in (ab)using their privileges of office. A pretty face can cover a host of evils and often ignorance of the realities - and I speak not as some religious fanatic - but as a realist. The old adage that the best con persons are the very superficially attractive ones holds here, women as well as men.
Footnote:- I went through a phase of voting for women on the basis that they should receive a 'fair go', just like our forefathers did when the 1900 referendum (think it was 1900) to give women votes (and yet, in some mysterious way, 'men' kept women down and women had to fight for the vote - snores). I soon, following the advent of affirmative action by another name in the work I was doing at that time, along with a clear view of the mounting privileges, changed my view. With the advent of endless rabid feminist pushes for more and more and more despite the realities of modern society, I ceased to vote for them, and now as a matter of principle, just like with Labor, I will not vote for them.
