It’s far more than just the 600 million quoted.
Factor in the costs behind it, the time spent by public servants and politicians and I suggest
We are closer to 900 million.

The NRL are owned by a news Ltd proxy.

It’s not even popular-

Rank      Most Searched      Most Attended      Most Participants
1      AFL      AFL      Aerobics
2      Cricket      Horse Racing      Golf
3      Football      Rugby League      Tennis
4      NRL      Motor Sports      Lawn Bowls
5      Golf      Soccer (outdoor)      Netball
6      Rugby      Cricket (outdoor)      Swimming
7      Soccer      Rugby Union      Cricket (outdoor)
8      Tennis      Harness Racing      Martial Arts
9      Basketball      Tennis (indoor and outdoor)      Basketball
10      Rugby League      Dog racing      Tenpin

It’s right up there with lawn bowls!

With homelessness now at a crisis level and cost of living driving more Aussie families out of homes and into tents  how a Labor government could DARE to give away 900 million dollars to help news Ltd is beyond belief!

Albo has no mandate to do this with our money.

Labor and it’s supporters should be ashamed.

Put Albo in an insane asylum for the protection of the community.

Cheesy Cheesy  Cheesy

that's the way Daves, pull a number out of your arse and then run with that. Grin

Anything the government does I guarantee you costs at least half that again in petty kingdom building and committee meetings not too mention study tours, focus groups, advertising plus branding.

He has no mandate to waste this money.

Albo would be a great assistant to V’landys.

A prime minister his not!

That’s fair more important!

The catering for the free food they enjoy at these meetings would house an Australian family for a year.

They are all completely out of touch the real Australia.

Anyway league types are 99% sure it’s never going too happen and never will.

It’s possible Albo will give Vlandys and via him news Ltd the 600 million but it’s never going too end up funding a nrl team In PNG.

It’s just a distraction from his local failures.

It’s never going too happen .

Just time and money wasted for Albo too promise thin air!
