Seems the members protesting don't like it when they're held to account on corruption and OMCG infiltation within its ranks. Time for the entire CFMEU to be deregistered - it's rotten to the core.


Tens of thousands of workers are expected to rally in Melbourne today as the CFMEU stages another major protest.
It comes the day after sacked union leaders held a rally that attracted hundreds of supporters in Brisbane yesterday.
The protest in Melbourne is expected to be much larger, involving more than 85,000 workers.

They're expected to gather in the CBD from 11am. Late last month, thousands of workers in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne all downed tools to join protests against the government's decision to place the CFMEU in administration. The government's actions came after allegations of a bikie gang infiltration of the union were reported by 9News, 60 Minutes and The Age.

Several leaders of the CFMEU were dismissed. The union is taking its fight to reinstatement to court, arguing the government acted unconstitutionally.
