Dealing with some sales people ( certainly not the majority! ).

Let's be reasonable, if you want to haggle go to Bali and waste your money.

If you want to shop in Australia you can negotiate.

In doing so you will come across the spectrum of human life living ( and prosperous!) with us.

In my recent dealings, buying a vehicle I've found this-

# if the salesperson is more interested in asking you questions, walk away.

# if the salesperson laughing in the conversation if you retort them , walk away .

# if the salesperson telling you that the special deals ended the day before but they can twist there manager arm, walk away.

# Always offer your best price first, saves everyone time.

# if your best price offer is accepted, always put down a deposit and ensure that settlement in complete by end of the month.

# don't be rude to people who only doing their job and trying to be helpful.

# reference my first points, just say thank you for your time and I'll think it over.

Anyone else got positive advice on dealing with salesperson?

I hate hearing people abusive treatment of them .

If you aren't feeling it, be polite and leave.

Plenty to choose from, don't ruin people day because they are just doing their job ffs!

Australia hasn’t advanced fair!
