"The FBI’s violent crime rate for 2022, the last year officially available, was 370 per 100,000 population.

"Preliminary estimates show the violent crime rate continuing to fall. And if that replicates in the final FBI data, Biden's term will have the lowest rates of violent crime in 50 years outright."

Well done Biden, what policy do you think made the difference, maybe administrative.

Trump derangement syndrome
Fareed Zakaria defined the term as "hatred of President Trump so intense that it impairs people's judgment"

Lets check in at 5pm on 23rd July 2025 then at 5pm on 30th July

Well done Biden, ...

Well done, indeed.

But let's take a closer look at this:

“During 2020, the last year of the Trump presidency, violent crime rose dramatically. The murder rate, for example, increased by almost 30%, the largest one-year increase on record.”

So, we know that violent crimes (e.g. rapes) increase when Trump is in the White House.

Now, considering that fact that Trump is a violent rapist himself, along with the fact that he's trying to fill his cabinet with sexual predators, do you think violent crime will increase or decrease in the next four years?

I'm curious.

Do you think rapes will decrease or increase in the US, under a Trump administration?

There has been a downturn in US sexual assault rates as Trump has aged.

That's true, I guess.

Melania probably doesn't have to suffer through as many violent attacks as she used to.

Not sure about Ivanka though.

Having said that, I'm sure violent crimes - such as rape - will skyrocket over the next four years in the US.

Particularly in Florida.

The part of the book that caused the most controversy concerns Trump’s divorce from his first wife, Ivana. Hurt obtained a copy of her sworn divorce deposition, from 1990, in which she stated that, the previous year, her husband had raped her in a fit of rage. In Hurt’s account, Trump was furious that a “scalp reduction” operation he’d undergone to eliminate a bald spot had been unexpectedly painful.

Ivana had recommended the plastic surgeon. In retaliation, Hurt wrote, Trump yanked out a handful of his wife’s hair, and then forced himself on her sexually. Afterward, according to the book, she spent the night locked in a bedroom, crying; in the morning, Trump asked her, “with menacing casualness, ‘Does it hurt?’ ”
