However, in the real world production has almost doubled since 2000, according to UNFAO.

Poor JM. Now he says it doesn't reall say that, but carefully omits what it does say.

The vanilla is not 80% grown in Madagascar. In fact it is about 47%.

There is so much vanilla being grown it has impacted prices. Whether Queensland grows or not is immaterial. Grin
