Turns out the shooter was a registered Republican voter.

He was wearing a Demolition Ranch t-shirt.

Demolition Ranch are a far-right pro-gun organisation.

Oh dear.

Ah, the "noble righty", taking matters into his own hands. Such resilience, such action and derring-do.

Awesome.

Indeed.

Looks like Trump might be losing some of his base.

False flag?

That comment was a joke, intended to trigger the easily-triggered MAGA crowd.

But, lo and behold, it turns out the shooter was a registered Republican voter who belonged to a far-right pro-gun group.

Well, well, well.

Well - why wouldn't the alleged shooter wear something like that to make it look as if he's a supporter- get in under the guard?

What would you prefer he wear?  'Kill For Joe' shirt?

Where are the conspiracy theories?  Hollywood special effects ... Trump was OK - just an ear (ear, ear) but several were shot - didn't see anyone fall in the film.... my concern was more for those severely injured and the one killed they said.

Should've known how to shoot better then... that video game just didn't turn out.

A shooter at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania has been “neutralized,” according to multiple law enforcement sources.

Looks like he either got shot in the ear, or cut his ear when the agents jumped on him.

Looks like high right of central body mass and blood flowed when he fell... maybe they finished him off with a 9mm to the back of the head ...

If the shoe was on the other foot they'd be making that claim for real, not in jest.

I'm glad he's ok.

He needed to be defeated, not martyred...

But he's a sure thing to win now.

Yep.  Can't condone violence, and this silly stunt will just give him a huge bump in the polls.

It'll be interesting to see what they know about the dead shooter.

And, unfortunately, a MAGA cult member was killed - they're insane, but this sort of thing should be condemned.  No place for violence in politics.

I've been waiting for it to start here - I've been warning you all long enough to say - "I Told You So" - when it starts...

Still haven't seen any indication of anyone down behind Trump....what gives?  All the pictures show people cheering ... where are the people down and being treated by friends etc?  Just asking...

Boy should have used a heavier calibre long gun...

"Authorities have identified the gunman involved in the attack against former US President Donald Trump on Saturday as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed by Secret Service agents at the scene after the shooting.

The FBI named Crooks in a statement early Sunday morning, identifying him as a resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania – about 35 miles south of Butler, where Trump was holding his rally.

Crooks graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022, according to a local media report and a video of the school’s commencement.

He was registered to vote as a Republican, according to a listing in Pennsylvania’s voter database that matched his name, age, and a Bethel Park address that law enforcement was searching Saturday night and is linked to Crooks in public records.

This year’s presidential election would have been the first he was old enough to vote in.

Federal Election Commission records show that a donor listed as Thomas Crooks with the same address gave $15 to a Democratic-aligned political action committee called the Progressive Turnout Project in January 2021. "

Another video shows a man sitting behind Trump go down fast and two women beside that man hitting the dirt.... or someone knocked them down for safety... maybe that guy.

Trump makes the Secret Service job very hard considering they are putting their bodies on the line for him - jumping up and making fist pumps to the crowd... and standing up and waving as they shove him in a car.

He doesn't care.

Trump only cares about one thing in life - Donald J. Trump.

He couldn't care less if the SS agents get killed.

Literally could not care less.

good point

if trump had been hit , ron would come in and then we would have 8 more years of awesomeness .

and i think trump would rather go out in a blaze of glory, then in a wimper like poor joe

he could join james dean and kurt cobain as folk heros

A whimper, is it? As prez, the job your DL's campaigning for?

Come come. All your DL needs to do is lose, and he'll be whimpering alright - maybe even whinnying.

You?

The Eld Gel and I, viewing his immediate reactions, both said it was all about him and not a thought for anyone else.  Some poor bastard copped it right behind him.  Sad... but anyway - he looks the next President of the US....  Joe looked ancient as he climbed the steps on to Air Force One.....

That guy climbing the roof in the dark clothing might have been mistaken for a cop.... but whoever was controlling the security should have known where ever single one was.

Registered Republican voter?  Check.

Member of a far-right, pro-gun/2nd Amendment gun-nut group?  Check.

So, a usual suspect.  No surprises there.
