The 'Conservatives' have been a centre left government for 14 years.
Seriously? Austerity, Brexit and bankrupting the UK to pin down deals for mates you're securing tax cuts for is "centre-left"?
Is it lead? Are you drinking water from lead pipes?
Woke and broke Britain: how fake Tories led to Labour’s landslide victory
Policy Failures and Broken Promises
The motivations behind the protest vote were rooted in widespread disillusionment. Voters felt betrayed by a Conservative Party that no longer represented their values or addressed their concerns. The list of unfulfilled promises and policy failures is long and damning. The inability to stop the migrant boats crossing the English Channel, rising knife crime, and the botched handling of fishing rights post-Brexit left coastal towns struggling and eroded public trust. The housing crisis remains unabated, and energy crises have exacerbated cost-of-living pressures.
NHS in Crisis
One of the most significant failures has been the handling of the National Health Service (NHS). Chronic underfunding, staffing shortages, and mismanagement have left the health service on the brink of collapse. Patients face longer waiting times, reduced access to essential services, and a decline in the quality of care. The failure to address these issues further eroded trust in the Conservative Party’s ability to govern effectively.
The UK today finds itself in a paradoxical state of being both ‘Woke’ and ‘broke.’ The social justice agendas, often championed by the ‘Fake Tories’ led to policies that prioritised ideological conformity over practical governance, further alienating traditional conservative voters. At the same time, economic mismanagement and a lack of coherent fiscal policy have left the nation struggling with mounting debt and a cost-of-living crisis.
As the UK moves forward after Labour’s landslide victory, the implosion of the Conservative Party at the hands of ‘Fake Tories’ serves as a stark reminder of the perils of internal discord and ideological deviation. The resultant protest vote, while a powerful expression of democratic discontent, threatens to destabilise the nation with such a massive Labour majority that will potentially make the UK even more ‘Woke and Broke’ with their left-leaning ideologies and their track record of economic mismanagement.

The UK is in the grip of a long-term economic decline, dear boy. Its cause is the UK's removal from the biggest trading market in the world, Europe.
And yet, you supported it, just as you always absolutely inevitably do. Why would anyone share your pity party when you play sh
it-and-run?
Imagine, Britain was one of the major European players - influence, voting rights, the lot. It even got to tweak the rules and keep its own currency.
In return, Brits got a stable influx of labour and the right to work, reside and retire in some of the world's most desirable countries. Now?
Brits are free to move to Blackpool. They can work in one of the desperately-needed jobs the Poles and Ukrainians used to do: cleaning little old ladies' bottoms or working for tips in hospitality. Of course, that's never enough hours in the day, so Mother needs to import her labour from the rapidly becoming more culturally-appropriate countries, such as Nigeria and Bangladesh.
Rich multicultural, innit.
Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?
