I don’t get it……Re: verdict of Greg Lyn

Even Galbally in interview was surprised.

I’m sure most are perplexed… guilty of murder for one deceased but not the other.

I just don’t get it. I heard about certain evidence was refrained from the jury?
Isn’t that wrong? Withholding?

I don't get it either.

I reckon the guy is a double murderer.

What was that rubbish about how the victim "stole" the shotgun and fired a warning shot into the air?

Next thing, he supposedly lunged at the murderer with a knife and fell onto the knife?

I call BS on the whole story provided by the murderer.

The plot thickens ...

Is this bloke a serial killer???

The tragic ex-wife and the woman in the desert: Lynn’s past to be probed
The mystery death of Greg Lynn’s first wife is set to be referred to the coroner in a bid for a fresh inquest, as the disappearance of a woman linked to the high country killer’s time as a pilot for Qatar Airways is also probed.

Was his wife's "suicide" a staged murder?

I wonder what happened to a woman "linked to his time at Qatar Airways"?  Huh

Yeah… all suppressed during the trial…
I had heard about his wife being fearful of him.

Also, what was brought up was that he burnt the bodies of those victims…. that’s got to be brought up as a charge too! Interfering with corpses etc so as to establish how they died.

I was thinking last night… I could just imagine… how terrified the little elderly woman was after her partner was slain… on her own and unprotected…imagine how Greg Lyn would’ve taunted and delighted in that….saying how he would have to kill her also as she is a witness to the truth.

Since he’s found guilty of her murder…. He can’t say both were an accident or in self defence!

The other question in mind…. how come as will any killing accidental or whatever… Greg Lyn wasn’t charged for man slaughter at the least?

I could have fallen over when I heard the verdict.  Now if the first death was an accident, why would you kill the only witness to that accident in such a brutal, cold blooded way? It shows he has absolutely no respect for human life, or remorse for that matter.

I am certain that he killed Russell Hill because the scenario presented to the court sounds so dodgy - and he seems to have a history where people have died.  That history was kept from the jury.  I don't doubt they had a full scale war of words over that drone.  But at the end of the day, Lynn was a lot younger and physically stronger than Hill so I don't believe Hill would have taken him on according to that bizarre scenario offered to the court by Lynn. It's just so amazing that he was acquitted of that death.

What I don't get, is the never missed reference to
"former Jetstar pilot"
on news updates

How is a past occupation and employer related to any murder and past crime ?

Would you ever see
"former VicRail train driver"
on murder charge - not once - but every time the story gets updated, on every news network ?

Does working for Jetstar turn you into a murderer, or stop you from becoming a murderer ?

It is common practice with a prosecution team to put all their resources into one prosecution case - and the one most likely to succeed.
The jury had already hinted they were thinking of a manslaughter verdict on the male victim, but the judge had already declared that as un-acceptable, so they've gone for a "not guilty" to murder as their only option.
I'd doubt a "double guilty" would make any difference to sentencing.

Maybe the prosecution will go back for a murder trial if His 'Onnah Zoftkok gives this guy five years.....

Maybe a jury should be suggesting sentence based on how they saw it as a group.... I'm increasingly wary of 'judge only' mischief.... jeez - Deuce got life without possibility of parole from a bad rep as one of the lowest forms of criminal ..... HIS accuser got a three million dollar medal!!

We need a Royal Commission into the judiciary and into jurisprudence toute de suite... too much is going out without proper oversight from Law.... and these judges do not feel they owe the Law allegiance any more...

Wow a lot of jet star employees coming forward… such as a work/friend of Lyn’s first wife… saying she was a lovely person who would help anyone and… she didn’t drink.

Then junior pilots saying they would rather call in sick than share a shift with Greg Lyn.

It seems that the jury will appear to have believed one half of his story but not the other half.
This will probably lead to an appeal.
They should have found him guilty of both deaths as murder.
