ng the system, because people think 'it is well past time.'

The prick has not spent one second of time in prison for what he has done, apart from breaching his bail conditions.

He has escaped Justice because he played the game and the cult followed, and morons, in this case, including Albanese et al have cried boo hoo for the prick, selling that weak as piss snake oil about "its been too long."

It's been as long as it has been becasue of what Assange did evading the Law!

Nah.

It would have ended years ago if the churlish prick had faced the consequences of his actions.

Where is Manning these days?  Remind me?

So... "President Rudd of Australia" has turned up in Saipan to walk alongside Assange into court!

Well, he is the Australian Embassador to the US, so I suppose perhaps justifiable.

But, no doubt, it is grand-standing by a kindred spirit

As the Mafia (and owners of 1933 US gold eagle coins) learned a long time ago, once you're a target of the US Feds you are a target for life - generational if necessary - with no expense spared.

Had it not been for the embarrassment and damage that the US Feds' fixation on Assange has caused to the reputation of the US, and the ugly glare it focussed on the US Constitution's 1st Amendment (denied to all non-US citizens), Assange would still be in jail in the UK.

The Feds will be licking their wounds, eased only by Assange's now permanent status as a convicted enemy of the US.

We've just seen footage of the Wikileaks founder walking through the doors of the court in Saipan

where he is expected to formalise his plea deal with the US shortly.

Assange was seen getting out of a car,
accompanied by Australia’s ambassador to the US and former prime minister Kevin Rudd.

He then walked into the building and was filmed going through security scanners.

What a weird coincidence that this happens a day before the debate between Biden and Trump?

Yes.

It gives Biden an avenue to raise Trump's stance on Wikileaks which he claimed to love during his election campaign and then, when president, claimed he knew nothing about.

Trump got away with it due to the Yankist inherent attention span of a gnat.

I'd bet Albanese got a proclamation from the "President's" office that he would be attending court with Assange in Saipan!

It's all political.

Of course.

The US obsession with Assange has become an own goal.

Now the world questions the worth of the 1st Amendment. Does the US stand by press freedom or is it just Yankist propaganda?
